EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: I'm New Here

HI Deborah, Congratulations for finding and USING EFT! What I tell my clients when I assign homework as daily tapping just starting out is that I would rather have compliance instead of burn out but some people are fine doing it and are happy to be doing it more often. Some questions that will reveal...

  • Re: How to Create a skinny waist with EFT

Hi OneLove, There's a great free site called Lose Weight with Me and EFT. It's run by an experienced EFT and a dietician who share concrete strategies. I think it might be a good place to dialogue with people about this question. The site is at http://loseweightwithmeandeft.ning.com/ With much...

  • EFT & Exercise

When I eat well, I seem to sabotage myself by not exercising. When I'm exercising, I sabotage myself by not eating well. I find myself going through periods where I absolutely LOVE exercising and when I absolutely HATE it. It seems like the minute I realize I'm losing weight and feeling better...

  • Tapping to rid self of good emotion?

Since tapping removes negative emotions- what about positive ones? My problem is that I love the feel of being overly stuffed. I feel safe and abundant and it reminds me of times when I'm celebrating something with lots of friends and family. When I was little my mom used to tell me to stop eating...

  • Re: not addicted to food but still want to lose weight

Hi, You don't have to be a food addict or super overweight to benefit with the use of EFT. In my opinion, what you want to do is to get to the beliefs/stories/negative experiences/patterns/negative feelings/core issues that are feeding the extra weight that you haven't been able to release. Some...

  • Brick walls...

I would like to start this posting by saying that I am not a therapist. I am what Gary calls a "do it yourselfer". A counselor that I worked with used EFT and taught me the basics. I then purchased the foundational DVDs. I've learned a lot, but it seems that the deeper I get into my own...
