EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

    Thanks, Suzanne, that's a great suggestion. I'll definitely tap for that. Your other observations are spot-on. We've been though all this before (when we first met) - and since he recovered from that depression (with bouts of overwhelming rage) he considers the issues "dealt with"...

There are a lot of complex emotions bundled up under this illness of his, and one of them is about feeling immensely unsafe (which stems from his being repeatedly bullied by the children...

    Hi Ros, You haven't mentioned anything about surrogate tapping? I would suggest you do some searching for some positive experiences of surrogate EFT tapping if you need some encouragement of it's potential. As you are in deep relationship, and from your description, you are quite able to resonate...
