EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • gymnast still scared

    Hi! I am just a couple months into EFT and seeing some great results. However, I recently did EFT with 10 yr old gymnast who is scared to do certain skills on beam and bars.     Tom, I am in the last weeks of preparing for my second marathon this year. EFT has been a god send! Although I have been using EFT with clients and for myself for 9 years there are always new ways to tap. I tap on everything, including not wanting to get out of bed some mornings and hitting the trail...

    Deborah, Yoga, especially hatha is great for creating balance. Also use the metaphor of a tree and think of using the leg that you are balanceing on as extending into the earth and rooting there. Do you tap for natural ease & balance before practicing?
