EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: EFT and Sports Performance

Just wanted to share an experience especially with nkp9999 and BPositive, where I used EFT on my own sports performance. I show horses, and have used EFT with really excellent results. I hope you'll forgive the long post, but it helps me when I read very specific descriptions from other people. Because...

  • EFT For Tennis

I am eager to use EFT to improve my tennis game. Some sort of mental block keeps me from winning matches. During practice sessions I am strong and consistent but have great difficulty winning the game. I can stretch the winning point out for agonizing, long periods of time. WHen every game is a series...

Two excellent sources for add'l info along this line are Stacey Vornbrock and Stephen Ladd. Stacey is a sports performance coach and is on the cutting edge of this field. She can be found at http://www.breakthroughperformance.net/ , and has been written up in Sports Illustrated for her work. A copy...

Although I have not worked a lot with sports performance issues, I will say that I enjoy it a lot. I think I just talked myself into an emofree article. LOL! A young woman came to me who desired to become an amateur body builder. She was in training for her first competition. We had only two sessions...

Killer list, Jan, thank you for that. I'll definately use it. I've done mental training in baseball for many years and EFT is blowing away my past results. I've got some articles coming out this month that will help give it legs in the colleges and HS here in the US. Tom

  • EFT and Sports Performance

Hello, I just signed up for the forum, and, being a track and field coach, I am specially interested in using EFT for improving sports performance. Although I don't think it is the most important application of EFT, it is kind of fun to see how far you can get with it. I have made a list of things...

  • Re: Is this forum performing?

Some thoughts: Performance can mean different things to different people. Sports? Daily life, how are you performing? Maybe "Performance" is the umbrella term all of these catagories live under. For me it depends if it's Racing Season or not! It could also apply to how we do with clients...

  • Re: Is this forum performing?

I have been interested in the performance side of things and have been trying to get my practise on that side. Performance, the word alone has many meanings. I am always careful when using it to advertise as I do not want to attract a 'sexual performance' practise but would like to get into the...

  • Snowboarding

Last night I went snowboarding at an indoor snow slope here in the UK. I took a beginners course last year, and now I'm trying to get some practise in ready for a snowboarding holiday in January 2008. Anyone who skies or snowboards will know that it's important to lean down the slope to a certain...
