Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will

EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: Borrowing Benefits and Surrogate EFT - can these be combined?

Hi Iris, I think as long as you are tapping with the intenmtion of healing you and baby, that can be achieved. I'd love to hear about your progress with the borrowing benefits :-)

  • Re: Surrogate Tapping for Cancer

Hi Leigha. I was just reading your post to Genia and I'm wondering if you could help me with something. I just posted [a similar (mod)] question to the "general issues" forum as well. Background: I've been using EFT for about 10 months. Mostly on myself, and sometimes surrogately for...

  • Protecting the practitioners energy field

Hi. I've been learning EFT for the last 10 months, using it for myself and family and friends. I have been through many of the DVDs but not all of them. And I have no previous experience in energy work or healing. I have heard that some people who use other energy techniques need to "ground"...

  • Using Surrogate Tapping AND Borrowing Benefits?

I'm curious if anyone has experience doing surrogate tapping and borrowing benefits at the same time. I'd like to be able to help my grandfather out, who can move around but has had drinking issues and arthritis for a very long time now. Borrowing Benefits seems like a good fit, because of it's...

  • EFT on TV

Nov. 14, 2004 Hi, I have been a student of EFT and energy psychology for several years now and I have been wanting to do a program about it on our local community television here in Dallas, Texas . I believe that it would be very valuable for those who watch it but, unfortunately I can't do it by...

  • Borrowing benefits vs. getting specific

Hello everyone, I have heard of the borrowing benefits technique, and I get the basic idea, but just out of curiosity, I'm wondering how it works exactly. With EFT we are encouraged to get very specific, yet with borrowing benefits, we just pick "an issue', and tap along to another person's...

  • Re: Newbie--weight question

Hi Claire, It is a great idea to take it into the after school program! I found when I was teaching high school a few years ago that some kids are more receptive than others. It really helped some--the ones that were willing to give it a go... I have found that if I kept it light and fun is when I got...

  • Re: Borrowing benefits instructions

Hi RoseU, Yes, Jo is absolutely right. Remember that Borrowing Benefits is a very gentle procedure. You are tapping on someone elses issues - fears - anxieties and YOUR issues fears and anxieties will reduce. When I teach this, I get people to write down their SUDS levels and their Movie titles, and...

  • Re: Help needed with personal peace procedure please!!

Mere As a therapist I always use my intuition and also always say Does this sound true, does that land? I am not a magician, I sometimes get it wrong, just as everyone else does. So therefore its ok for you to say No thats not it, because the intuition may be off. I never assume for clients and have...

  • Re: Powerful Idea - Please Try it and Then Post Your Results.

[quote user="Chip Engelmann"] Okay, I tried it. Even though I haven't been able to come up with the right title, I give myself the insight I need to find the perfect title. I did it in the "Choices Technique" format. One round on the negative, one on the positive and one alternating...
