EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

    Hello, all! I'm new here -- In fact I just found out about EFT a few days ago and downloaded the beginner's manual. I'm glad I didn't know you "weren't supposed" to use EFT in cases of MPD (I prefer that term to DID), because I'm a multiple and I just did my first tapping...

    Hello Arum, If a child has been sexually abused and has repressed the traumatic memory, then it will affect him/her later. Any event which a child is unable to handle is generally repressed, as is the case with adults also. However, this memory is not forgotton, it is only repressed, which means it exists...

    Thanks Marianna for input. I forgot to mention that after I tapped on the athlete's foot, the next day the worst of the inflammation had subsided. I tapped again today on the athlete's foot. Not sure I had the right phrasing, but I finished with "I am releasing this athlete's foot"...
