EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Loss of Appetite from Drug Withdrawal

Hi, everyone, I am a twenty year old man who lost his appetite, initially as a result of withdrawal from Risperdal. It has been going on since last December, and so it has lasted for the better part of a year; so long that by this time, I suspect that drug withdrawal isn't even a factor. I have been...

You are right about my frustrations possibly getting in the way. I am entering couseling myself to try to help me handle it. A mother's natural instinct is to feed her children and when she sees one waste away, it is extremely difficult! I have seen Gary's DVD and read the manual. I am tapping...

Thanks for your answer. I have been tapping on myself and it has helped some with my anxiety. She is not willing to let me try it on her, but I am doing it surrogately anyway. I figure it can't hurt anything. Has tapping helped with your anorexia?

It was so encouraging to read that you think EFT will help with Anorexia. My daughter has been fighting it for about 4 months now. She is seeing a psychologist that specializes in eating disorders and seems to be progressing, but not fast enough for me! I recently bought the EFT DVDs. Do you have a suggestion...

  • Loss of Appetite

I thought I would share an experience using EFT (emotional freedom technique) for Loss of Appetite. My mother after having surgery, had a total loss of appetite. She also suffers memory loss. It became a great concern when she wouldn't eat, and had to be forced to eat the smallest amounts. This went...
