Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom

EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • PTSD ~ Flashbacks of events I don't remember!

I hope someone can help me with this. I have had flashbacks of things I don't remember happening. It's always the same thing each time it happens. It's triggered by being in a religious atmosphere and someone putsting their hand on my shoulder. I go into a state of fear and try to get away...

  • Re: In a dark place and not even sure about trying to get out

Hi Andi, and Kriss (?) -- Some great replies already, I haven't been to the forums recently and decided to stop by. Your message resonated with me, because I also grew up in a very abusive home; and EFT has been a great help. I learned about it back in 2001 and at that time had no inclination to...

  • Re: DID or MPD (multiple personality disorder)

Hello, all! I'm new here -- In fact I just found out about EFT a few days ago and downloaded the beginner's manual. I'm glad I didn't know you "weren't supposed" to use EFT in cases of MPD (I prefer that term to DID), because I'm a multiple and I just did my first tapping...

  • Stuck mind/?memory patterns

Hi, I've only just recently come across EFT. I am wanting to hopefully use this to help with some very long ongoing mind stuff that is recurring for me. It involves thoughts of me as a child being beaten badly, sometimes it seems to involve other children and not me. I had some help for abuse from...

  • Where to begin?

I was sexually abused when I was between 5 to 9 years old (from what I remember, could have started earlier). I have been suffering from depression for many years. Have been on therapy and medication on and off. I have recently started EFT but don't know the hierarchy of emotions. I am full of negative...

  • Re: Childhood Sexual Abuse

Ingrid, thanks for the suggested startup statements. In just 3 sessions, I have discovered the source of my chronic pain (2 years now of Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome), as well as lifelong ADD, depression and a host of other issues, stems from being raped by a beloved uncle when I was very young, (I am...

  • Re: Stuck emotions-PTSD-Repeated Sexual Abuse over 18 yrs.

I totally identify with all the distress, pain and suffering that you've been going through. For my part, I was repeatedly beaten, abused, neglected, and abandonned and molested by my crazy, violent, addict mother (alcoholic/drug addict, overeater, debtor, gambler, sex addict, rageaholic, etc..)...

The ex is verbally abusive and she said she tries to ignore things that he says, but the more she ignores the worse he gets and he does this stuff in front of the child. She said that he...
