EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: Feeling disconnected from myself after successful EFT

Whow! Well done! I have "lived" in the reverse of what you have done. I have experienced what you are saying from aged 23 to now (57!!!) All I can say is do not investigate anything anymore - just enjoy "the space you are in!" I was surprised today to find anyone whom had suffered...

Hi Ingrid, I just came back from an overseas trip and am catching up on my email. Thank you for your words. To answer your question, when I flipped out I remember that I was extremely, extremely anxious about what was happening to me. What had always been a very pleasant experience, turned into a horrific...

Strobers, I want to appologize for taking so long to answer your post. I don't have any experience with derealization, and I don't want to encourage/decourage you to continue with EFT. I was very moved by your post and am impressed by how far you have come in the meantime with your father and...
