Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will

EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: Feeling disconnected from myself after successful EFT

Whow! Well done! I have "lived" in the reverse of what you have done. I have experienced what you are saying from aged 23 to now (57!!!) All I can say is do not investigate anything anymore - just enjoy "the space you are in!" I was surprised today to find anyone whom had suffered...

Hello Ted - This is very curious - I have suffered DP/DR since about 1975 - I am now 57 - I agree it is (as I call "a living death!") I have worked with the Maudsley hospital in drug trials to no avail. I have sought many alternative therapies even Shamanic journeying and EFT and Neurolinguistic...

Gill, thanks for so useful a reply. i just couldn't find the thread. How does on use the code/link you wrote as I'd like to access the article. Are you talking about sort of making up a story/video so it might trigger some memories or something to tap on? I'm really stuck with this one at...

  • Re: DID or MPD (multiple personality disorder)

Hello, all! I'm new here -- In fact I just found out about EFT a few days ago and downloaded the beginner's manual. I'm glad I didn't know you "weren't supposed" to use EFT in cases of MPD (I prefer that term to DID), because I'm a multiple and I just did my first tapping...

Thank you for posting this, Sam Embracing Samo. As a person struggling to heal from DID, I felt very much the same way as you expressed, especially to the passages you quoted from the recent EFT article. In fact, I printed that article and highlighted most of the sections you shared above. I am wondering...

I know that this thread is an old one. It's already a year and few months since nobody posted to it, but I am nevertheless reviving it today since I have just read in yesterday's EFT Insights Newsletter: December 29, 2008 that Gary thankfully gave voice to an anonymous survivor whose writing...

  • Re: Stuck emotions-PTSD-Repeated Sexual Abuse over 18 yrs.

I totally identify with all the distress, pain and suffering that you've been going through. For my part, I was repeatedly beaten, abused, neglected, and abandonned and molested by my crazy, violent, addict mother (alcoholic/drug addict, overeater, debtor, gambler, sex addict, rageaholic, etc..)...

  • Re: Help needed with personal peace procedure please!!

Mere As a therapist I always use my intuition and also always say Does this sound true, does that land? I am not a magician, I sometimes get it wrong, just as everyone else does. So therefore its ok for you to say No thats not it, because the intuition may be off. I never assume for clients and have...
