Almost every evening since then I&amp;#39;ve had an activity which took me back
out of the house, and this week, it&amp;#39;s been not one but two such
activities every night. They were all good reasons, birthday
celebrations, doctor&amp;#39;s visits, regular monthly club meetings, religious
holidays, High School annual start up events. Just too much of a good
thing for my tastes. I began to feel resentful rather than blessed by
the concentration of activity. It took it&amp;#39;s tole on my vibration, and
thus what I was attracting, and thus my weight reduction plan (I turned
to food to comfort myself). I didn&amp;#39;t give up on exercise, tapping, or
making better food choices, I just didn&amp;#39;t find a way to stay &lt;b&gt;as&lt;/b&gt; focused on them as I would have liked. So &lt;u&gt;sometimes&lt;/u&gt; I ate more of a calorie dense food than was ideal, &lt;u&gt;sometimes&lt;/u&gt;
I didn&amp;#39;t fit exercise or fidigeting or tapping in when I could have
(but sometimes I did). Even though all this is true, I forgive myself,
and still love and accept myself just the way I am. The net result was
my weight stayed the same this week. Nothing gained, nothing lost.
Okay. My overly busy schedule has come to it&amp;#39;s end, I&amp;#39;m refocused on my
blessings, and approaching everything in my life from a position of
love. I&amp;#39;ve already seen dramatic results in what I&amp;#39;m attracting (e.g.
this morning, my son, who &lt;u&gt;never&lt;/u&gt; speaks to me when I drop him
off at school, wished me a good day, when I wished him one) and thus

By that I mean that I silently and mentally focus the reminder phrase at each tapping point. I don&amp;#39;t physically tap or speak out loud. It is as if each point in turn, as I visualize it, has a funnel of light coming out of it and I pour the reminder phrase into the funnel. Sometimes it is more like applying the phrase as a poultice to the point.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I don&amp;#39;t believe that I invented this system consciously. I guess it just evolved because of the embarrasment of doing something odd in public. It seems to work for minor irritations and stressful situations but it is very likely effective as a sort of echo of tapping on major issues.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have read quite a bit about EFT techniques and experiences in the last few years but I don&amp;#39;t recall seeing any mention of this phenomenon. If I were showing someone EFT, I would never mention it as something to try.
