What she has to say about elbows:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;Represents changing directions and accepting new experiences&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;You may want to ask your friend if there is something in her life that is new and they are having a hard time changing directions with... If so, tap on that. Be sure and check for the intensity before tapping. When you get the intensity down to zero--then check the elbow (check the elbow before tapping, too).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Something else that comes to mind is to ask your friend--after a few rounds of tapping--have them close their eyes and ask the &lt;i&gt;pain&lt;/i&gt; in their elbow, &lt;i&gt;is there a message that you have to give me?&lt;/i&gt; If there is a message, and the person is willing--then have them tell &lt;i&gt;the pain&lt;/i&gt; that they get it and it isn&amp;#39;t necessary to continue giving the pain in the elbow. &lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;"&gt;A technique that I have found helpful for repetitive events is called &lt;a href="http://www.emofree.com/Articles2/bundling-baggage-lindsay.htm"&gt;bundling baggage&lt;/a&gt;. You might want to try it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;"&gt;A question that you might want to ask yourself is “What is the payoff for me keeping these headaches (or other symptoms)?” I would recommend asking your higher self after doing several rounds of tapping.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;"&gt;My hunch is that your headaches are trying to tell you something. You could ask you higher self, “What is the message that my headache (or other symptom) is trying to tell me?” Again ask after you have tapped for several rounds. Many times it can be something that is very obvious, but there may be a part of you that isn&amp;#39;t ready to hear it...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;"&gt;When was the last time that you cried? It can be very beneficial to cry and tap. You don&amp;#39;t need to say anything when you are crying—just tap on your points. If you find your &lt;i&gt;sweet spot&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt; (one that feels extra good) it is OK to tap there more often.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;EFT is great for helping release &lt;i&gt;stuck&lt;/i&gt; energy. There is something really BIG that is stuck in your energy system. All of the emotions that you mentioned would be good to tap on. Know that you are Whole and Complete and that what you are dealing with are conditions that can clear, and that you &lt;em&gt;deserve&lt;/em&gt; to be at peace.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;i am having stabbing pain on my right heel / achillies tendon and i have had this since monday.&amp;nbsp; i have tried eft&amp;#39;in myslef and lots of diff aspects of why the pain is there, but with no joy, the intensity doesnt even change!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;how it happened - i was stretching calf and soleus (muslce of the lower leg)&amp;nbsp;on monday in my studio and something kinda twinged i suppose. then it gradually got worse.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;past stuff - i am 27 just now and i first had problems with this leg with calf cramps 2-3 times from the age of 13/14 to 16, crapms were so bad i had to sit for 2hrs or more before it would ease. around 17 i was told i had achillies tendonitis which flared up occationally.&amp;nbsp; at 18 i stretched the tendon and ligaments of this foot by landing on the outside of my foot when playing basketball, coming down from a rebound. i was put in an open cast. at 20 i was told i had patella femoral dysfunction, something to do with the knee cap??? i got treatment for this also (all physio).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i now know that if i suddenly explode with a sprint of speed that i get a sudden stabbing pain which makes me pull up and to others is very obvious that something went wrong. i also cannot do explosive jumping, like plyometric work, jumping sports of any kind as the pain (tendonitis) will flare up in my right heel.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i understand the deeper meaning of pain than a physical injury in the body, i am an eft level 2 , CHEK HLC level 2, CHEK Exercise Coach and a Reiki practitioner. so i know about the chakras and energy blockages to a certain level.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i have tried using setups like&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;all this pain in my right heel / ankle&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;all this pain in my right achillies tendon&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ive described it as stabbing / pain / ache / shooting&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ive used the colour of it&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ive thought about how this pain slows me down&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;how the pain stops me walkin properly, therefore stoping me taking those steps i need to&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ive used that its on my right leg, im right handed therefore it is regarding a male, either myself or my dad ( as this is what my teachings have taught me)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ive used that its to do with security&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;im really stuck and frustrated with this&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I couple of things that I would like to add. If you can&amp;#39;t find a sore spot, that is OK--do like you are doing--tapping on the side of the hand.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Some set-up phrases might be, &lt;em&gt;Even though&lt;/em&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;my wife has been able to get rid of her migraines and I haven&amp;#39;t, I deeply and completely love and accept myself&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;When you are trying out these set-up phrases out, notice what comes into your head. EFT opens us up to our intuition. So, tap on whatever &lt;em&gt;pops&lt;/em&gt; into your head--no matter how wierd or off the wall it may seem. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you have been doing EFT quietly--AMP it up--that can &lt;em&gt;move&lt;/em&gt; some energy. I know that migraines are a serious matter, but if you can make fun of your situation, you may be able to break the pattern. When you start LAUGHING while your tapping--on your serious issue--you will find that you are on the right track, and usually the SUDS (intensity level) drops and so does the pain.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Travis, something else that might be helpful is to ask yourself what &lt;em&gt;benefit&lt;/em&gt; your migraine may give you or if you &lt;em&gt;didn&amp;#39;t &lt;/em&gt;have the migraines would there be something that you would miss out on? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;One last idea for now, when you are having a migraine, ask the &lt;em&gt;pain&lt;/em&gt; what is it trying to tell you. Then listen for an answer. If you get one, thank the pain and tell it you &lt;em&gt;got it&lt;/em&gt;, and it doesn&amp;#39;t have to keep &lt;em&gt;telling &lt;/em&gt;you with pain.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Don&amp;#39;t give up. You are on the right track!!! Let&amp;nbsp;us know when it clears and how you did it...&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;"&gt;My experience in helping people with pain is that &lt;i&gt;usually&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt; it isn&amp;#39;t enough to just tap on the physical pain itself. However, s&lt;i&gt;ometimes&lt;/i&gt; just tapping on the physical pain does works.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;Some things that could cancel out EFT:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;if your cell phone is on your body&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;if you are too close to a computer or TV&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;if you are reacting to something that you have eaten in the last few days (another words, if you have an allergy or sensitivity)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;coffee&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;li&gt;

&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;I feel frustrated that EFT hasn&amp;#39;t worked on my migraine, and I have done it until my arms ache...&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;I feel angry that EFT hasn&amp;#39;t worked on my pain, and that just isn&amp;#39;t fair...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;The above thoughts may or may not be helpful. Feel free to change them in &lt;em&gt;anyway&lt;/em&gt; to help yourself. You may want to say them LOUDLY while you are tapping on karate chop point on the side of your hand, and if other thoughts or feelings come in to your head—tap on those. The idea is to flush whatever it is in your head that may be causing it to ache.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;One other idea that just came to me is do you remember &lt;i&gt;when&lt;/i&gt; you had your first migraine? Was there something traumatic for &lt;i&gt;you&lt;/i&gt; that was going on in your life at that time? If so, it would be good to clear that—it could possibly make it so you wouldn&amp;#39;t have any more migraines.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;I strongly encourage CUSSING, too. Even if it is to say PISSES ME OFF instead of &lt;em&gt;makes me angry&lt;/em&gt;. We are trying to move some really OLD, STUCK energy.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;Oh, one last idea, after a couple of rounds of tapping about your migraine. Close your eyes and go inside, then ask &lt;em&gt;pain&lt;/em&gt; in your head—&lt;i&gt;what is it that you are trying to tell me?&lt;/i&gt; Then listen to the answer. If you get one, let &lt;i&gt;it&lt;/i&gt; know that you heard it and &lt;i&gt;it&lt;/i&gt; doesn&amp;#39;t need to continue giving you PAIN—that you understand what it is telling you. Then thank it for &lt;em&gt;it&amp;#39;s gift,&lt;/em&gt; and release it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM:0in;FONT-STYLE:normal;"&gt;I hope that you find at least one thing of value here.&lt;/p&gt;
