Welcome to the world of EFT!!! You have already had some success--yay!

What were you tapping on that brought the carpel tunnel syndrome on again? What were the emotions? Or was it the repetitive hand movements that brought it on? If it is repetitive hand movements, then there is something else that you might want to try: touching the point and inhaling and exhaling deeply...

Gratefully yours,

This is to introuce myself as one who is living a full Qaulity Life by Managing Chronic Pain.

Hi ... my name is Gary Rocha, a retired Canadian now living in Europe. EFT was referred to me by some friends on the Internet whom I have not personally met, but whom have been very supportive of me..

I trust that this is another direction I'm being guided to take, which has been the case ever since my 'process' started in earnest shortly after my release from hospital. Being as I am new here, I have not fully read the site, which I already see holds much information! However, just from a quick scan over the site and this (taken from above): It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips. I think the technique is not totally foreign to me, as I underwent a similar technique called Body Work with my own therapy! The difference however, is the pressure for application on the meridian lelease points.

The reading I think will prove very interesting!

Re: caparal tunnel syndrome (CTS)

Hello Myra,

It sounds like you feel pretty confident that you have your father issues handled. You may.

I understand more about your confusion, and that it is about having so many issues. After tapping on your confusion about having so many issues and getting the SUD level down to a zero, go within and ask "what is the most important issue to work with at this time?" Just choose one and be specific about your feelings.

Myra, here is another idea: after tapping you might want to close your eyes and ask the pain in your hands what emotion is stored in your hands (anger, fear, guilt or who knows whatever emotion). You might be surprised what answer you get. Then you could work on that.

I don't know that you can do it wrong. However, if you uncover with the emotions that are under the pain and do EFT to clear the emotions, you will speed up the process immensely.

Gratefully yours,

Yah for your success!!! Besides continuing to clear the issues that you believe are related to your husband, it would be good to clear issues with your father. I believe that you husband’s behavior have been a trigger to what you experienced with your father. Some set-up phrases could be Even though:· I feel angry that my father made me wrong for almost everything, and I deeply and completely love and accept myself· I feel pissed off that my father always blamed me…· I am angry that my father always blamed me and all I wanted was his love and approval…Myra, I think that your results will be even better if you tap into you feelings. After you clear the anger, I would imagine that there could be sadness—if so, you’ll want to clear that, too.I am in favor of cussing, and being loud. I hope that the words above will be even a little bit helpful.
