I am surprised you have not had more relief just tapping on pain issue. "Even though, I have this pain at level 5 in my neck, it feels like________________ (burning, dull ache?) it is always there (whatever is true for you :~) and very wearing..............." finish with acceptance.

Repeating "this pain" at each point, and do up to 10 rounds, which Gary has suggested, but, honestly, I have never had to do more than 4, maybe five at the most. I also tap with two hands, both sides. Usually two rounds will take me to the point, I forget aboout it (1-2) and then to a zero 15 minutes later.

( I had a whip-lash injury in my 30's and then 12 years later after continued pain, I had neck surgery and the doctor removed a disk that had calcified. This was before magnets & EFT. When I started having problems the second time, not wanting surgery, I placed a 50 cent size magnet on shoulder point that seemed to be the trigger point and wore it 24/7, every day the pain was less and I regained full use of my arm in 6 months, which when I started was down to about 20%. Now, with EFT, I tap and combine some magnetic energy in a diffent form. I have to wonder, if it could have been accomplished in much less time. Either way, I am very grateful and I do understand your discomfort.)

I have also, found touching the pain area, to help in being specific, saying "This pain right here!" "it is driving me nuts" :~)

Tapping a full round, all fingers and Gamut Point (pain) would seem to be helpful, that way you are energizing meridians directly that are located in your arms and much closer to possible problem blockages.

I have developed a series using a combination of style of "Allergy Antidotes" in combination with Dr. Lincoln's "Messeges of the Body" ( he gives emotional issues for each vertebra and disc ) and Louise Hay affirmations, that I have used very successfully. If you know from x-rays exact or specific location Cervical C1-C2-C3-C4-C5-C6-C7 ----- Thorasic T1-T2-T3-T4-T5-T6-T7-T8-T9-T10-T11-T12 Let me know and I will forward the information to you.

If you do not know for sure, we can use Muscle Response Testing to determine the weak areas that are causing you pain and then do the same as above.

Hope this is helpful, let me know if you desire anymore information!

I've had chronic hip pain on my RIGHT side, which is actually referred from a herniated disc in my lumbar area, and exaccerbated by degenerative disc disease in the same area. I've had this for nearly four years and have been able to get temporary relief from injections, medications, decompression therapy, chiropractic theapy, etc., but nothing has helped permanently. Over these past 4 years, I go in and out of "episodes" of great pain where I spend much of my time in bed and my life has been greatly limited. A recent MRI has shown that my herniation has actually healed itself by 2/3rds, yet I'm in as much pain as ever.

So when I discovered EFT and it worked to break my latest episode, I was thrilled! Within 24 hours, I had reduced my pain level to be off meds, and am getting much better adjustments at my chiropractor!

That said, however, the pain comes back. And I've identified that my hip is where I hold my stress. Anytime I'm stressed over *anything*, I feel it in my hip first. I've been tap-tap-tapping away on various issues that come up, but there seems to be more. Trip to the bank? Pain. Rush out of the house to (wherever)? Pain. Traffic jam? Pain. Uncomfortable conversation with a friend? Pain.

Some things I'm tapping on are not bothering me anymore and I can certainly start tapping as soon as I feel the pain and it goes away. But it seems that I must be stressed over *everything*! Or at least, I have not figured out how to keep my stress level down.

Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome. There is not an EFT Practitioner within an hour of me.

God's peace,

But after his fourth viewing, he told me that each time that he returned to the beginning of the movie his level of pain at the beginning of the movie was higher than it had been the previous time.

I was puzzled. After checking with my intuition, I brought our session to an end for the day. We have agreed to meet again this Thursday. I am going to try to find Gary's book at my local Barnes and Noble. Does any one have any suggestions. I would appreciate assistance.

Grace and Peace,

Glen Booth

Simple back pain gone with EFT

Hi, everybody, I bring a short story here :)

The other day I did some heavy clean-up around my house... two days in a row cleaning, puting order, painting some walls and stuff like that, and at the end of that I found myself with this terrible pain on my back. I thought it would go away with some sleep, but the next day it was actually worse, I couldn't even sit down or lay down for resting.

So, I did some EFT. First, I started with some setup phrases about my back pain, but that didn't seem to work. Then, since the pain was so annoying, I started tapping all the points while just remembering all the things I did... like "I had to clean up the living room, the bathroom floor, I even painted a couple doors", thiking about all the hard work and expressing how tired I was and all the things I had to do. I also focussed a lot on the feeling in my back, describing it like a pressure, even visualizing just how tense my muscle were. Then, I lied down on my bed for a few minutes... and I realized the pain was completely gone!

I tried resting on my bed before, but it just didn't work, but after doing EFT while remembering all the hard work, it just took a few minutes to go away.

It was great, because I had a choir rehearsal hours later and, even if I was indeed a bit tired, it didn't hurt at all, so I really managed to enjoy the music :)

I hope this approach help you!

Re: back pain

hello dear one,

our bodies are always talking to us. it keeps attempting to give us messages. if we don't understand it--it gets louder and louder.

according to louise hay, in you can heal your life, back pain represents support of life, and lower back pain refers to:

fear of money

lack of financial support

do either of those fit? if so, you could use something like these for set-up phrases. even though:

my lower back hurts, and maybe it has to do with lack of finacial support, i am not sure, and i deeply and completely love and accept myself

i have fear of not having enough money...

i have feelings of not having enough money...

what i notice about your set-up phrase is that you are dealing with emotions... you aren't going deep enough. how do you feel about the back pain? here are some ideas that may or may not be true (use them as triggers...) even though:

i am scared that my back may go out on me...

i am getting older and i fear that my back may get worse...

i have lost weight, and that has helped some, i feel helpless that my back pain is still here...

i don't think eft will work for me, maybe i am not doing it right or not smart emough or______...

another suggestion, get LOUDER. add CUSS WORDS. and one of my favorites is tap and *** (or rant). maybe your back is your barometer, and like you were saying, the pain could be serving a purpose. be aware of when your back hurts. could you be stuffing your feeling? if so, tap and *** and get it out.

hope something here helps. please let me know how it goes.

with love and compassion,

For more than 10 years, I have been dealing with low back pain. There is no history of an injury, no specific event that occured at that time. I use pain meds occasionally, but nothing strong. I've lost weight and that seems to help a little. When I use EFT it helps, but never goes away. Some days worse than others. My set up is "even though I have back pain, I deeply and completely accept myself." Sometimes I wonder if the pain could be serving a purpose, and that's why it's not going away. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks for expanding on your situation for me, I appreciate your letting me in on your life. You are right, you can definately tap around the trial and other associated events and make some great headway... keep on doing that.

I was thinking about what to write back and I remembered an interview on eft-revealed.com with Rick Wilkes about back pain. He is an expert on the subject of pain and has gone through it himself having major back surgery in 1999. Here is the link for his interview:

http://eft-revealed.com/blog/using-eft-for-back-pain-with-rick-wilkes/

He does a great job explaining what to tap on around this whole issue including the suffering I spoke about. If after listening, you have any questions please post a message.

Take care, Karen

P.S. Rick's site is www.thrivingnow.com and there are tons of free EFT resources there. I belong to his Thriving Now Team and it is great to be in a community of like minded people who want vibrant thriving lives and are using EFT to help them attain it!

Re: Back Surgery

Hi Javier,

Please give yourself credit for being open to EFT and for moving forward even with minor improvements. Some would have given up on EFT off at this point saying it isn't very good or doesn't work for them. I think your desire to reach out for help will be key to your recovery.

For sure things like obvious physical damage tend take a bit longer than vibrational types of pain i.e. a negative emotion in the knee -- so, please be patient with yourself. The body needs time to catch up with the mind and our intentions.

In your situation, a very helpful application for EFT is to use it on the suffering. The negative self talk that may be going through your mind and any stressful emotions that are coming up for you.

If you would like to know more about tapping on these things, then let me know and I will expand for you.

Remember to send your self some love and appreciation for stepping forward in this forum.

Blessings to you, Karen
