It has been going on since last December, and so it has lasted for the better part of a year; so long that by this time, I suspect that drug withdrawal isn&amp;#39;t even a factor. I have been to a doctor (also an eft practitioner, by the way) on several occasions, but she doesn&amp;#39;t know how to help, and moreover, she hasn&amp;#39;t given me specific enough instruction on how to do eft, no matter how many times I begged her to. I have also been to my physician and even a psychologist, both of whom were unable to help. Despite all that, I think I know how to do it, and I have done it for a few emotional traumas I have experienced, and was successful with the pursuit. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;To cut to the chase, I have recently noticed that I have some deep seated anger towards people and entities whom I perceive to have wronged me. I don&amp;#39;t feel &lt;i&gt;terrible&lt;/i&gt; when I think of these things, but I still believe it to be an unhealthy thinking pattern, as it is all I ever think about, and I find that it keeps me from enjoying my life &amp;quot;in the moment.&amp;quot; It is very difficult for others to detect, because I have an excellent sense of humor, and I do a good job of not letting my anger manifest itself in a social situation. When I am alone, however, I am always thinking about how &amp;quot;I almost died, because I was chronically overdosed,&amp;quot; &amp;quot;The art teacher tattled on me, because she wanted me back on drugs, and she wanted me dead,&amp;quot; &amp;quot;The other students at the school were jealous because I finally got off drugs, and was enjoying life, and they would have stopped at nothing to have me back on drugs,&amp;quot; etc. These thinking patterns usually take a smug tone, which is masked as gratitude, in that, for instance, when I say to someone, &amp;quot;I&amp;#39;m really happy that I have a second chance at life.&amp;quot; what I am thinking is something more along the lines of, &amp;quot;Hah! No one will ever cause &lt;i&gt;me&lt;/i&gt; any harm, and it&amp;#39;s not like that f***in&amp;#39; b*****d would have ever gotten &lt;i&gt;his&lt;/i&gt; way, anyway. I am invincible!&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The only thing that is a potential barrier to the resolution of these issues is that I don&amp;#39;t believe that they make me feel bad enough to cause this appetite loss. I believe in my heart of hearts that we can make the marriage work. And whatever I am trying to do to make it work is completely from my side, like many have commented here. Ros&amp;#39; case has given a new hope to me. When I saw your words for tapping I liked them. I am new to EFT in a way &amp;amp; see it as my last hope. I am working on various emotional &amp;amp; physical issues this situation has brought about&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My questions are:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1. I have blurred vision due to the stress caused by the situation and on top of it, I have uterine fibroids which fortunately are not causing any problem to me. Even now I don&amp;#39;t have any indication of their presence.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;5. There was a miscarriage as well which in itself was a very painful  experience for me. I just love kids. I know that I need to forgive all those who have hurt me immensely. But sometimes I can, sometimes I I just cannot. &lt;p&gt;Well done!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I have &amp;quot;lived&amp;quot; in the reverse of what you have done.&amp;nbsp; I have experienced what you are saying from aged 23 to now (57!!!)&amp;nbsp; All I can say is do not investigate anything anymore -&amp;nbsp; just enjoy &amp;quot;the space you are in!&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I was surprised today to find anyone whom had suffered this DP/DR and I have also trained in EFT to Level 2 -&amp;nbsp; I have posted an answer to a guy called Ted who seems to still be suffering.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I am rather loathe to refer you to it because I just suggest you continue to enjoy &amp;quot;your new space&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What you have been suffering is Depersonalisation and/or Derealisation -&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; and thank goodness it was only for a short while.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font size="4"&gt;&amp;nbsp;The Meridian associated with menstrual issues is the Liver (under the breast tapping point) so do your EFT rounds with special emphasis on liver point (stay there for 40 taps each round and vent) it&amp;#39;s related to anger and rage (negative) and if you tap using choices then after a few rounds of&amp;nbsp;negative issues replace with compassion (positive)&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;font size="4"&gt;Here are some other tapping issues to address related to liver meridian:&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;First of all, it is helpful&amp;nbsp;to remember that Matrix Reimprinting, which was developed by EFT Master Karl Dawson, is not a replacement for EFT, it is an enhancement because it is&amp;nbsp;just a variation of the EFT Movie Technique,&amp;nbsp;although a very powerful one I might add!&amp;nbsp;I&amp;#39;ve&amp;nbsp;been involved in hypnotherapy, NLP&amp;nbsp;and a progressive form of Reiki for over 10 years and have yet to find something as&amp;nbsp;powerful and effective! I am thrilled to have come across EFT and now the &amp;quot;Matrix&amp;quot;!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Doing EFT Matrix Reimprinting by your self, requires&amp;nbsp;having&amp;nbsp;a basic working knowledge of the Emotional Freedom Techniques and at least some experience with intermediate EFT approaches like; the Tearless Trauma, Movie Technique, the Personal Peace Procedure, Tell a Story etc. The more EFT skill, experience and tapping time one has under&amp;nbsp;their belt (especially leading others in doing EFT since the ECHO is the client), the better equipped one&amp;nbsp; will be! Also, working knowledge of some kind of body/energy work i.e. Reiki, Mediation, self hypnosis, focusing etc. is a wonderful&amp;nbsp;bonus! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is not necessary to go through all of these resources listed below before trying to do some Matrix Reimprinting yourself - however, please make sure&amp;nbsp;you feel safe and secure on all levels (mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually) before proceeding with this technique. It is possible to do it&amp;nbsp;on our own, however having the assistance of an experienced tapping buddy or an EFT practitioner&amp;nbsp;trained&amp;nbsp;in&amp;nbsp;the Matrix approach&amp;nbsp;can be helpful&amp;nbsp;will&amp;nbsp;generally&amp;nbsp;improve&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;results&amp;nbsp;you get.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, please remember that MR is &lt;strong&gt;NOT&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;the &amp;#39;be-all&amp;#39; and&amp;nbsp;&amp;#39;end-all&amp;#39;. As I mentioned,&amp;nbsp;it is just another EFT Technique, somethign else to put into your self-help tool box. EFT helps to free up/shift stuck emotions and energy blockages it does not magically transform ones life or teach mental and emotional coping and&amp;nbsp;life skills. However, once we become free from heavy emotions and negative energies that have been holding us back, we&amp;#39;re&amp;nbsp;more able to go&amp;nbsp;out and create the kind of life that we&amp;nbsp;want&amp;nbsp;for our self! (i.e. health, abundance, career, relationships etc.) &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;IMPORTANT NOTE:&lt;/strong&gt; As Karl instructs, tap down any emotional intensity when you are doing the Movie Technique before entering into the &amp;#39;Matrix&amp;#39;.&amp;nbsp;Also,&amp;nbsp;at any point during the MR process, if you&amp;nbsp;begin&amp;nbsp;to feel yourself&amp;nbsp;becoming&amp;nbsp;associated with your ECHO or &amp;#39;younger you&amp;#39; and&amp;nbsp;stressful or&amp;nbsp;negative&amp;nbsp;emotions are beginning to rise up&amp;nbsp;in your body then: &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1) STOP&lt;/strong&gt; immediately and&amp;nbsp;apply the Tearless Trauma Technique, Anxiety Constricted Breathing or the Tap and Breathe Technique. Or you might&amp;nbsp;try&amp;nbsp;some Reiki, Heartmath breathing or use&amp;nbsp;some other ‘self-soothing’ technique. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2) Imagine gently placing your ECHO back&lt;/strong&gt; in the scene or safely outside of your body (disassociate).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;3) Ground your energy.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;I like to&amp;nbsp;imagine&amp;nbsp;big thick energetic tree roots growing from&amp;nbsp;the bottom of my&amp;nbsp;feet and going deep down into the earth.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;4) Imagine a protective&amp;nbsp;energy bubble or eggshell&lt;/strong&gt; around your entire body about an arms length away from you; safe, secure, protected. :) Then, imagine the same thing around your ECHO or the entire scene or setting that the ECHO is in. It is also helpful to imagine a beam of white healing light entering through the top of the bubble,&amp;nbsp;bathing you and your ECHO in an&amp;nbsp;energy of love, peace&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;total acceptance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;5) Be very conscious about&amp;nbsp;keeping&amp;nbsp;your energy separate from the ECHO&lt;/strong&gt; when doing&amp;nbsp;the Matrix&amp;nbsp;work.&amp;nbsp;That is, until you are finished with the technique i.e. you&amp;nbsp;have tested your results and feel sure that you are&amp;nbsp;ready to re-integrate the transformed ECHO/’younger you’ into your own personal energy system.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;6) Contintue with the technique ONLY &lt;/strong&gt;when you are&amp;nbsp;completely disassociated and are&amp;nbsp;in a calm, relaxed state.&amp;nbsp;The reason&amp;nbsp;we need to be detached,&amp;nbsp;calm and collected is that it is very difficult&amp;nbsp;to lead a&amp;nbsp;tapping session with&amp;nbsp;our ECHO, if we are&amp;nbsp;associated, emotional (fear, anger, rage, sadness, desair etc.)&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;in a stress response (fight, flight or freeze) mode.&amp;nbsp;In&amp;nbsp;stress response, our thinking brain naturally gears&amp;nbsp;down and the&amp;nbsp;emotional brain takes over. Not a very resourceful&amp;nbsp;state to&amp;nbsp;be in to successfully guide&amp;nbsp;a tapping session!&amp;nbsp;:)&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;May I add &amp;#39;unprocessed or unexpressed&amp;#39;?... bad experiences. If you didn&amp;#39;t have a chance to watch the videos I posted on the forum with Dr. Robert Scaer (unfortunately the CMN one is now only avail. by subscription). Dr Bob explains the stress/trauma occurrence and stress/trauma release cycle we all go through is a natural process. Keep in mind his definition of trauma is anytime we feel helpless and overwhelmed by something... so this accounts for many small &amp;#39;t&amp;#39; traumas from our past as well. Things we would never figure as adults to be traumatic or stress causing. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Even things like a 9 month old standing in the crib crying out for a parent who ignores them can be trauma causing and create an ECHO or split off part of our self. When you think about it the helpless and overwhelmed aspects definitely fit into this senario. And we don&amp;#39;t have to go tap on 100&amp;#39;s of ECHO&amp;#39;s either, because the neat thing about Matrix work is, that its just a variation of the EFT movie technique so the generalization affect holds true. Tapping with one ECHO can positively shift a whole bunch of old unprocessed hurts/memories.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If we are able to successfully release these energies and associated negative emotions that show up in our adult life as things like feelings of abandonment or disempowerment... we actually become more resilient than those who experience no emotional trauma/stress at all. So, bad experiences are only bad if they remain in our Field as unprocessed experiences... and when they are transformed energetically, they become beneficial to us. Guess this goes with the old saying &amp;quot;What doesn&amp;#39;t break us... makes us stronger!&amp;quot; :)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So, these split off parts, these ECHO&amp;#39;s, actually make us a stronger more resilient human being&amp;nbsp;when they are reintegrated into our personal energy system. When they are no longer stuck or frozen and floating out in the Field/Matrix. I think Dr. Scaer adds some really good science and fact to this topic and reduces the &amp;#39;woo-woo&amp;#39; factor of approaches like the EFT Matrix Reimprinting technique. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Sounds like, you are right on here. I have a feeling&amp;nbsp;it will be a combination of the two as you say. When we discover and shift an aspect i.e. successfully reframe, find wisdom in and create a new image to associate with an old event/memory, we automatically change our emotional state and move up the Emotional Guidance Scale (EGS). When we find relief on that topic, we are no longer stuck at the lower vibrations or emotions like anger and blame. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Another idea might be to check out some of the other emotions on the scale that are around anger. If we successfully get in touch with or tune into and are able to shift one of these other emotions related to the &amp;#39;stuck&amp;#39; issue in our life i.e. abandonment or lack of assertiveness, then there is a good chance we may not have to work with the anger. As I said above, the goal is to baby-step up from the bottom i.e. powerlessness, instead of trying to jump too high up the scale which does not usually stick/last when a trigger comes along. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Consider revenge for example. A somewhat distasteful state/emotion when one first thinks about it, I know! However, there are safe/healthy/harmless ways to express revenge. I remember an Abraham piece where a 70 yr old workshop attendee was explaining how resentful and angry she was at a twin sister for always upstaging her since she was a child. Her sister always had to be the better one and this made her so mad! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After some discussion with Abe about moving up the emo scale and how she might process her feelings she decided to get a photograph of her sister who she hadn&amp;#39;t spoken to in over 20 years and draw all over it with black marker. Yes the whole 9 yards, glasses, crossed eyes, mustache... complete with hairy moles on her sister&amp;#39;s chin! The attendee laughed so hard at the thought of doing this and secretly getting revenge on her sister that afterwards she couldn&amp;#39;t even bring up the anger at her sister.. it was gone - and this work was done in her imagination! No actual picture no marker... our subconscious is very powerful and it does not know the difference between real and imagined, that&amp;#39;s the beauty of working in the Field/Matrix, its all based on the power of our imagination. :)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As Dr. Scaer says, in order to release negative energy, we need to complete the trauma cycle and feel as though we stood up for our self (fight) or got away (flight) instead of feeling helpless and overwhelmed (freeze). So, drawing on her sister&amp;#39;s picture fulfilled this fight formula, got her out of feeling helpless and disempowered by her sister (freeze) and was very humorous to boot! You may also want to check out Steve Wells work with provocative EFT that uses humour to shift/transform negative feelings/emotions. He is a pretty funny guy and great EFT&amp;#39;er!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please remember that EFT is not like talk therapy. So, if you do decide to tap on the anger (either alone or with someone i.e. a buddy or practitioner), you don&amp;#39;t have to rehash everything. The 2 clients I mentioned above using the EFT Matrix Reimprinting only tapped on the anger for 5 minutes and released it on that particular movie/event and we tested it. My sense is (with the Matrix/ECHO work anyway) that one only needs to acknowledge/visit these feelings briefly and then we can move past them on our way up the emo scale to neutral and beyond!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Below is something I wrote for my weekly EFT Wisdom tip based on a quote from EFT&amp;#39;er &amp;#39;extraordinaire&amp;#39; Ingrid Dinter. I thought it might add to this idea. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I think Ingrid does a great job at summing up EFT &lt;br /&gt;in just a few short sentences. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Talk therapists and other counseling and therapy &lt;br /&gt;professionals do some awesome work out there &lt;br /&gt;however, mulling over old hurts can sometimes&lt;br /&gt;act to reinforce instead of transform the negative &lt;br /&gt;emotions and energy and actually prolong suffering! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve known quite a few individuals who had been &lt;br /&gt;attending therapy sessions for many, many years. &lt;br /&gt;With EFT, these folks were able to work through &lt;br /&gt;their stuck emotions and hurts in just a few months.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Gary Craig, EFT founder is right on when he says;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&amp;quot;With EFT, we can heal in hours and days instead &lt;br /&gt;of months, and in weeks and months instead of years!&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
