Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will
EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: What if I can't think of specific causes of my suffering??

Thanks for this Gill. Well, part of what I'm wanting to do is maintain a regular practice on my self, with myself.  But I often feel frustrated because even my attempts as using the Personal Peace Procedure don't yield much in the way of issues with emotional charge at this point. The things that do bother my these days have to do ...

  • What if I can't think of specific causes of my suffering??

I certainly have my issues.  There are many unresolved issues in my life, and yet as I reflect, there are not that many actual events that I can think of from my life that still hold a negative charge for me...EXCEPT that there are patterns that I can reflect on that I've learned from family, friends, culture, media, etc.  For ...

  • Question about marketing myself

Hello All. I'm fairly new at using EFT and planning a move to a new state (in the U.S.) and have a question about the best way to market myself.  Maybe you'll be able to help. As I get ready to move, I'm thinking of ways to prepare so that when I arrive where I will be living next, I will be ready to put the word out.  ...

  • Re: Question about EFT in groups

Thank you Ingrid.  This is very helpful.  I like your idea about playing a video. And the ideas you have about the constricted breathing exercise and food cravings as well. Originally I was thinking about focusing on some physical issue and now doubt myself a bit.  What are the "can of worm" scenerios that you ...

  • Re: Question about EFT in groups

Thanks so much Mildred. I wonder if you could say more about what you mean when you say "sample scenerios".  Do you mean to suggest a random problem to work on and then let them pick their own...and not say it outloud?

  • Question about EFT in groups

Hello All! I'm planning to run an EFT group in the coming weeks with a bunch of friends, all of whom are familiar with the Basic Recipe tapping sequence, but pretty much beginners (I too by the way, am probably only about a step or two ahead of them in terms of experience). I'm pretty new to this so I'm not charging any money ...

Hello All! • Re: hurdles for newbies

Yes, thank you for this post.  It reminds me of how I felt a number of months ago when I first "tapped" into EFT.  I was really excited and not at a point of quitting, but definitely feeling like I could be getting better results.  Ssince then, I've met several times with an EFT coach and I've found that it has ...

  • Re: Suggestions for helping someone get over fear of socializing?

Thanks again Jo.  Contrary to what you might have thought, I found your first post to be really very helpful.  I especially liked your perspective: "we benefit from learning lots of different approaches so they are there for our intuition to draw on at the time, but the real healing happens by simply deeply being with and listening ...

  • Suggestions for helping someone get over fear of socializing?

Hi All.  I'm going to be meeting with a friend in a couple of days who I was talking with today.  She was in a not so great space and when I asked her why, she said, "Because I don't know how to talk".  I probed a bit further (because clearly she knows how to talk), and found out that what she meant was that she ...
