Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will
EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: Looking for financial independency: My inner child has confused gifts with love

Hi, I think you are generalizing too much - EFT works best on specific memories. Tap on a specific bad memory, and on a specific good memory. Think of ONE movie scene not a terrible childhood etc. Also, your words are very insightful, but it always strikes me when reading your words that they are sad, confident, true, BUT NOT EVERYTHING. Because ...

  • Re: Question about the mechanics of EFT

Kevin you said you had a sickening sour feeling in your stomach for 39 years. Presuming this is your age, did you actually have it when you were born? Do you have a memory of not having it? See if you can work out when it actually started. This might clue you in to a particular time to be aware of. You said you don't want to be controlled by ...

  • Re: Why isn't everyone rich?

HI icanstillchange THANK YOU for putting your feelings your such beautiful words. I was equally weak when I discovered EFT and although I'm still not blossoming with energy, I'm thrilled at how many of my dreams I'm able to meet. My bank account is also not an indicator of how rich I feel. I feel rich (right now at least) and I thank ...

  • Re: Change didn't last?

Ann you are one of my heroes. Many of us here on this forum know what it's like to deal with anxiety and temporary highs and deep lows. It isn't fun at all. Someone who can ask for help, tap bravely and thoroughly, even if they didn't work it all out in one session, is someone I really admire. Well done. I feel really bad for you ...

  • Re: Question about the mechanics of EFT

OK sorry about the metaphors, it's just how I see it. This explanation may get you to get EFT to work for you in the way I'm suggesting. This may bring up memories or create imaginary traumas. Sorry in advance. Use at your own risk You asked how saying "Even though I have..... IDACLAAM", can help alleviate the problem. ...

  • Re: Question about the mechanics of EFT

When you get a parcel with a gift in, if you just put the whole parcel on your shelf unopened, it can get in your way, be irritating, upseting, distressing. If you try to eat oranges with the peel on, it isn't so nice. That's my metaphor for so many things in life that affect us. Whether the packaging is the good bit, but there's a bad ...

  • Re: Change didn't last?

Hi Ann. a mother doesn't lie to her daughter - doesn't quite make absolute sense to me. Does a mother never say "I'll be along in five minutes" but she comes in ten, or not at all? Rather, I think it might be more accurate to say - but remember, this is only my opnion, not necessarily true, that a mother usually has her ...

  • Re: TMJ?..bruxism?...

there are some specific acupressure points that can help give relief to this condition. I saw in a book called "accupressure" I think, from Michael Reed Gach a set of points he'd developed for this condition. I don't have the book any longer. I sometimes wonder if perhaps if we misunderstand and then reject our parents, ...

you could also try tapping even while u smoke in the am which is perhaps a more difficult time for you psychologically. tap ET i need to smoke in the am's, perhaps because.... I can accept myself and this smoking habit anyway. when u can accept it truly (at least my theort believes) it can morph. at least you will have more energy and ...

  • Re: Where to begin? - Smoking

hi knucklebrain, how do you know that taking up smoking was the worst thing you ever did? I suspect you believe this because you are finding it difficult to kick the habit. But presumably you needed it then, even if it is not serving you now. So perhaps it wasn't so bad at the time? What I'm saying is that conventional wisdom seems to ...
