Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will
EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: EFT While Walking

Anything that improves results, be it environmental or not, is worth pursuing. Even if it doesn't work for everyone, if it works better for you great! Someone may try this having read your post and find it helpful.

  • Re: What Fear of Height?

It's great Harry that EFT helped you conquer your fear of heights as well. Another testament to the effectiveness of EFT.

  • Re: Where is my baby?

I believe I understand your feelings of loss and grief and anger. I am the mother of two adopted-at-birth children. I remember going places and seeing kids everywhere and even seeing one mother severely punishing her kid and thinking "she doesn't deserve to have a child" and going to the zoo was a big mistake-- there were families ...

  • Re: Working with a high school class with EFT

Yeah! Liz, I rejoice in your success. Way to go! I think you were very intuitive about the room, the self-consciousness and knowing that you did actually reach them. Good job.

Liz, handouts: a picture of tapping points, or description of them, the affirmation statement for them to follow perhaps followed by suggestions for making it relavent in their life (teens!) with the ideas you gave for test anxiety, public speaking, sports, emotional upsets and try it on everything, etc. I always include something like ...

  • Re: Mom died when I was young

Russ, that is a primary loss that is difficult to recover from but it can be done. I believe that parents and grandparents sometimes in believing they are protecting their children keep them from attending funerals and other events. Certainly you were old enough to attend your mother's funeral. So if it were me, I would tap on something ...

  • Re: Parkinsons

I sense your frustration. I'm not sure how you used EFT, how long, how often, what techniques were you using. Did you ever try a practitioner? It is true that not everything works 100% but unless I had explored it with a practitioner I'm not sure I would be without hope. People with serious chronic illnesses have experienced ...

  • Re: Is it possible to be OBSESSED with EFT??

Just to interject some humor here. I suppose anyone can become obsessed with anything. I was told that my uncle liked to collect his bellybutton fuzz and save it in a jar. Now that is a weird obsession. Tapping and learning, if its working for you...that's not being obsessed. In my observation if someone connects with something like ...

  • Re: Working with a high school class with EFT

You can use the training manual as a starting point. I actually like to have the students jump right in and try it on something with the short version, this gets their attention, then you can go into more details about who, what, where, when, why. I also like to make a point of the discovery statement and some of the science behind EFT so its ...

Hi you can submit an article or there is no reason you can't share your successes right here and invite others to also. You may find a few in the professionals forum.
