Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will
EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: Why the Change - How is that going to effect new practitioners

Hi Ingrid, I totally agree and have always agreed that EFT was too easy for so many, many of my clients have come to me because they have had bad experiences with other EFT 'practitioners'  When I teach and do my workshops this is one of the things I make sure people become aware of and I make sure they know EFT and not to use it ...

  • Re: Why the Change - How is that going to effect new practitioners

I am also concerned about the changes, I am certified in ALL the meridian energy therapies and did this under Sylvia Hartman.  This also included EFT and was a very vigorous course, I have also been practising for 7 years.  Does this mean now that I have to have Gary's certificate to be recognised on his website and as a ...

  • Re: Change personality?

Hello Aurora, Your personality is yours and yours alone, many people worry and think about how others see them.  I would ask what is it about yourself that you are not looking at while you are looking at others.  Sometimes we spend time caring for others so we do not have to look at what is really troubling ourselves. Things you can ...

  • Re: facial blushing and sweating

Hi There, One of the things I would tap on is, E.T. I don't think EFT can help me. Also E.T. when I get anxious I blush and sweat. Sometimes we can go looking for things that are not there.  Deal with what is going on specifically at the time, if it leads back to a core issue then fine if not it does not matter as long as you start to ...

  • Re: Crippling Anxiety & Fear of Abandoment

Hi Anne, You don't say if you use EFT or not, so I am not sure if you use it. I would tap on Even though I have this crippling anxiety Even though I feel sick with worry all the time Even though I have this fear of abandonment You will have core issues here and I really would suggest you find an EFT practitioner and work through some of ...

  • Re: Working with couples, separately

Hi Ingrid, It depends on the challenges they are facing.  I usually see them seperatley until I think they can get together without getting into too much of their own issues.   So I clear their individual issues and then they are open to 'listening' to each other. Each couple takes different times.   Helen ...

  • Re: Working with couples, separately

I have worked with several couples seperatley but always get them together for a session or two  if the discussions are around the relationship. One thing I make clear is that although I will not discuss each others details to them I also ask they do not discuss what I say also.  Sometimes the interpretation of what you comment on can ...

  • Re: A seemingly complicated block to losing weight

Hi Cindy, Great that you shared so much and some great answers also. Have you looked at the downside of losing weight, i.e. if I get skinny again I might attract another Ethan?  I often find that my clients hold onto the weight as a protection. Hoponopono is also great. Helen Vella Florida www.vellaandassociates.com
