Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will
EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: Angry husband refuses to forgive me...

Thank you, Chip.  Thinking about such things in terms of the Law of Attraction is very revealing, isn't it. An important shift in my behaviour involved noticing where I was still thinking negatively about my husband or our relationship (for example doubting our ability to achieve intimacy or his ability to heal) and tapping the negative ...

  • Re: Angry husband refuses to forgive me...

Thank you Gill.  Four months ago I couldn't see a way through - but I stuck at it, and in particular used affirmations to change my headset about the relationship, catching myself every time time I thought negatively about it and tapping away the doubts and unhelpful negative beliefs (e.g. "He will never change" or "we are ...

  • Re: Angry husband refuses to forgive me...

I just wanted to post an update, particularly to thank of all of you who helped me in my darkest hour! Everything has resolved, and the miracles that I tapped for have come to pass. My husband has recovered his health, after nearly five years of chronic (and debilitating) illness. He has also recovered his sense of humour, his patience,  ...

  • Re: Angry husband refuses to forgive me...

Hi everyone  I now realise that when I said
I'll probably leave it for a few weeks or months before reporting back and letting you know what happens.
that was an indication of my doubt that the tapping was going to work!  Here I am, a week later, with (what feels like) a miracle to ...

I just wanted to thank all of you - NancyR, Scientist George, bodhileaf, Gill and Pamela - for your helpful and supportive responses. You've given me a lot to think about and tap on, and I shall be working on all of these suggestions over the next few days/weeks and see if any shifts occur. As a result of everyone's thoughtful posts I feel ...

  • Angry husband refuses to forgive me...

My husband has been ill with ME for nearly five years now, becoming ill just after our daughter was born.  He was very badly bullied as a child and since he became ill, rage started surfacing... directed largely at me.  A year ago I discovered EFT, and it has been a God send, enabling me to cope with the stressful situation at home, and ...

  • Re: Forthcoming Interview nerves - please can anyone help?

Hi Wendy,  A good start might be to write a list of all the negative emotions (fears, anxieties, worries etc) that are bothering you about the forthcoming interview e.g. Even though I'm worried/afraid/anxious that....  (fill in the gaps, make your list as extensive as possible).  It might include things like ... they ...

  • Re: Persistent Migraines seem to be the only thing I can't banish with EFT

Hi JoAnn,  Thanks for your input. But what a difference a vowel makes - my finger must have slipped (or is it trying to tell me something?!) - my migraines started when my partner moved in rather than moved on!   And we're still together, married now, and we have a daughter, and, though it's been tough the last couple of years, ...

  • Persistent Migraines seem to be the only thing I can't banish with EFT

I've been doing EFT for a few months ago and used it with great success on just about everything - on myself, my family and my friends.  I've had consistent successes with surrogate tapping (for both humans and animals, and sometimes at a distance). With myself I've managed to banish cystitis, thrush, and thyroid imbalance, and ...

  • Wikipedia Article on EFT needs rewrite

I found a rather biased article on something I was researching via Wikipedia, and out of interest, decided to have a look at the EFT article. It's awful.  Anyone curious about EFT who looks it up on Wikipedia would be unlikely to try it, I think.  Wikipedia is a favourite reference point for many people so who knows how many people ...
