Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will
EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: Technique to remeber first negative emotion's occurrence

Its actually very simple, just ask.   First of all tune into where you feel the negative emotion, how do you know its there, its usually felt in the body, and then ask when was the first time I felt  this feeling or when did I NOT have this feeling?  If the answer is I have always had it then thats a clue we are looking at ...

  • Re: Horrible anxiety.

Can I ask did you use EFT for the trauma you witnessed, which you believe to be the core issue.  I am supsecting the possibility that this event you witnessed triggered some deeper insecurity.  Without the details of what happened its rather hard for us to advise, but it would not perhaps be the normal reaction to seeing a trauma to ...

  • Re: Caregiving Job Anxiety

Your post about her reminding you of your mum makes sense.  Thats why she is pushing your buttons I suspect.  Its always good to ask who does this remind me off!  Of course you can't let the behaviours mess with your peace of mind, I totally agree.   I had an amazing experience though when my mums behaviours nearly drove ...
  • Re: Caregiving Job Anxiety

This may be a little more understandable than that.  Because I was a caregiver for my mother and am for my grandfather, I know how hurtful they can be at times.  I do not consider them to have a personality disorder but they have in fact had their freedom taken from them.  If she is anything like my loved ones she will find it very ...
  • Re: How our experience fools the brain to see only what we know

This is really interesting.  What however does it mean when you misinterpret totally what was being asked?:)  I thought I was supposed to look for the same colour in the same place!  My husband would say its proof that I never listen properly, I think I know what is being said.  That is just an interesting misperception of a ...
  • Re: I have lots of problem and some of them are preventing me from fully using EFT

Hopeful Do you remember we spoke about finding someone experienced with extreme anxiety symptoms such as hallucinations etc because it is possible that by not understanding anxiety we can feel worse.  It takes a great deal of experience to work with these kind of anxiety responses.   The goal of working with these kind of anxiety ...

jade Your English is excellent! Here is an article that might be of help using EFT for our dream issues http://www.emofree.com/Articles2/dream-issues.htm It is very common to have this conflict about our parents, the love and the fear, because sometimes our parents are unpredictable due to their own trauma history and reactions.  ...

  • Re: Frustrated at having to tap over and over on ONE memory!

Josie Try tapping on this very frustration.  I have had one memory that I kept coming back to again and again as it had so many aspects and so many repurcussions.  I have also been able to talk about things in coping mode, and when in given the opportunity to be honest about what I really feel been in bits about it, so perhaps its ...
