Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will
EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: Where to begin? - Smoking

Hi Kevin, Jack here; I'm one of the forum moderators. You hit the nail on the head
I smoke and I hate myself for it.
with your first sentence. I suggest you get smoking right out of the mix for now and focus on:
I hate myself
. What do ...
  • Re: Daughter is "addicted" to negativity and limiting beliefs

Hello Nomed, My name is Jack, I am one of the forum moderators. Welcome to the addictions forum. EFT works very well via the telephone. I worked with my first EFT therapist Carol Look for 6 months before I met her and it worked very well for us and about 50% of the people I work with are phone clients. I have a client who lives overseas and we ...
  • Re: EFT Procrastination?

Hello Katyelaine, welcome to the emofree addictions forum. My name is Jack and I am one of the moderators.  We received both of your posts, however I only posted one because they were pretty much the same. So, disregard the email you will get when I delete the other one. The one I approved was the more revealing of the two. It will give ...
  • Re: Addiction to sugar and toxins

Hello Iris,  Welcome to the Addictions forum.  You will get a lot of feedback here on this issue.  This is what I would suggest right now. Take your clothes off and get in the shower in order to be free of any toxins that may be on your person or clothing. While you are in there tap on this. Even though I am convinced ...

Hi Jackie, My name is Jack and as one of moderators of this forum I would like to welcome you. The three previous posts have some great ideas.  There were a couple of things that jumped out at me that they did not mention. More and more research suggests that we become addicted to things that we are allergic to. Hence, your ...
  • Re: Drinking to much, how to incorporate tapping

Well Daniel, That's a great place to start. Setup: Even though I don't think I am addicted to alcohol but I still can't seem to control my drinking after I get started I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though whenever I feel __________? I use alcohol to feel better, I accept who I am and how I feel. ...
  • Re: Drinking to much, how to incorporate tapping

Hello Steve, I'm Jack and one of the addiction forum moderators.  First off I want to say that EFT is not meant to replace any other forms of addiction treatment but to enhance them. You may want to seek out a 12 step group so you have some support and a place to go when you feel like drinking. It sounds like you have already taken the ...

Hi Tapelgan, Welcome, it is nice to have someone with that much sobriety taking an interest in this forum. Sounds like you never had a relapse, my hat is off to you. Share a little of your story if you have a mind to. Do you use EFT to help you with your 4th step work? Warm regards, Jack
  • Re: Treating an alcoholic

Hello again Dvora Thanks for clearing that up because now I can be of more help. On March 13th 2003, I was lying on a gurney in the emergency ward of the local hospital where I had just puked up about a quart and a half of blood all over the nurses who were making me fill out forms. I had already thrown up three times before I got there. I ...
