Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom - Physical Freedom - Performance Freedom
It often works where nothing else will
EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

  • Re: How to build your EFT practice

Hi, Paul,  I'm so glad that you listed this resource!  It's an excellent article. I've used many of the techniques that Carol lists, and they're excellent.  I think that where people fall down is that they try to do all of these at once, and it's just not possible. Pick 2 or 3 at the most that appeal to ...
  • Re: Why isn't everyone rich?

Hi, Claire,  I think that you're right about what you said 'until we have the true desire to become rich can we really become rich?'  And the desire isn't strong because the word is ambiguous. It does boil down to clarity.  That's why I often use the word 'successful' instead of ...
  • Re: Using social networking to build your practice

Hi, Mildred,  I use both my phone and computer for Social Media.  Because I travel, my phone is essential.  There are lots of times I can tweet on my Iphone that would otherwise be very quiet marketing days for me. At home, I prefer my computer because I can type faster! If you think about your phone as filling in the ...
  • Re: Why isn't everyone rich?

Hi, Christa,  As has been said, not everyone wants to be rich enough to do something about it. I play the harp, and I'm always amazed when people will come up and say 'I wish I played the harp' and then wander off.  I don't think that they really want to play, any more than many people want to be rich. If you want ...
  • Re: EFT Without using arms for tapping

Noreen's suggestions are great.  I also like to visualize my fingers doing the tapping - it's almost as though I can feel the percussive touch on the various points as I imagine it, and I can hear the 'bump, bump' as my fingers tap each point.  That's what has worked for me, to make it a vivid visualization of ...

  • Re: Brad Yates...

I think that Brad is great at what he does - he does have the ability to work with core issues, it's just not something you're going to see in some of the short sound-byte things he does, you'd have to check out his more  involved work.  I think the way to look at it is that tapping has many applications, and can be ...

  • Re: Using social networking to build your practice

Hi, Mildred,  Social media has transformed my practice! It's allowed me to connect with and support people that I never would have met before (for example, the wonderfully helpful Paul Zelizer, whom I met on Twitter.) I'm more active on Twitter than Facebook, but just as one solid example, I now routinely have more than 100 ...
  • Re: Question about core issue (help in finding it)

Hi, Cmroll,  This voice is so interesting! There are many of ways that you could approach this. You could tap directly on the voice... Even though the voice says 'I'm not going to tell you...' I choose to accept myself and the voice. One thing that I really like to do with my clients is to give a voice like this a face, ...
  • Re: Overcoming block: others better than you?

Hi, Evan,  I acknowledge you for your honesty, and I think that Paul and Gillian have made excellent suggestions. I want to expand on something Paul said. I want to ask - what is the benefit that you offer your customers or clients? I can't believe that your competition beats you on every single count.  Superior, ...
  • Re: Help with Gagging when Tapping on Abundance

Hi, Dan,  I'll try to address all the issues that you've brought up - they are good questions! As far as the 'I choose' statement goes, I believe that it makes everything very present tense. When you say 'I choose', you're affirming that in this moment, regardless of what went before, this is who you are, ...
