EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

I've been playing around with this and getting some interesting results. Anyone else? I'm toying with the idea of inviting Dr Brad over to the UK. If anyone else is interested, please get in touch. Love, peace and hugz Ivan

    Re: Emotion Code

Ingrid Hi Yes of course. I've been practicing EFT now for about 2 years. I do a lot of free work - generally on the street (view videos here www.tappingguru.com) - and really enjoy working with people on a myriad of problems. While surfing the web my eye was caught by an add that read something like 'Tired of all that tapping?'. This grabbed me as obviously tapping is the fastest and most effective method I employ at the moment. Anyhow, I bought the book and was gripped by the approach. I have to say though, had it not been for EFT, I probably would have dismissed Emotion Code out of hand. The technique involves talking directly to the subconscious to discover trapped emotions. You get yes/no answers to questions via muscle testing. Once the trapped emotion is identified, it is released with Nikken magnets by rolling them down the back (you can see Dr Nelson describing it on youtube here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4kbQzEfEG4) I'm very new to this and am still very skeptical. But I bought the Magboy magnets to see what results I would get. I've had a sore knee now for about a year and have tapped for EVER without any effect which I found very dismaying as I seem to have perfect results with everyone else. Anyhow, one night I rolled the magnets over my knee for about 5 mins and presto! The pain simply went. I'd had some wine that evening so didn't say anything to my wife for fear of being berated. The next morning, still no pain. Since then (about 6 weeks ago) I've had slight pain return but nothing like it was. (I've now ordered the Magcreator magnet) I've now tried the technique on two facial pain patients with some success (below is recent email I got for feedback). I'm really interested in the process and will be practicing more. What really impressed me was an experiment I did with my mother. There are string of questions that you ask that lead you to the trapped emotion and how long it's been trapped there. I surrogate tested my mother, asking the questions silently in my head whilst my mother did not even look at me. Then I went through the same procedure but directly muscle testing my mother. We came to the exact same emotion in the exact same year. I did this twice. We were working on her phobias (of which she has many and we've had moderate success with EFT). We identified 6 trapped emotions and released them. We determined that there were 11 more to go. I will be amazed, if after we have released those remaining trapped emotions, if the phobias disappear. We will be working on those when she gets back from holiday. I'll post my results when I get them. Hope that hasn't bored you! Kindest Ivan BTW if you want to contact me, feel free. Skype is 'gipltd' or UK cell +447932220000 Here's the email: Hi Ivan My apologies for taking so long to get back to you! The right side of my jaw has relaxed now and isnt causing me any prolems so maybe it did help more than we thought! I will keep trying the tapping. I'm not sure if I will be able to do another session any time soon, I have just started a new course and its very intense (and very stressful, probaly not good for the jaw issue) and I have very little free time. I have been prescribed some medication so I might try that for a bit. Thanks very much for travelling so far to help me, it was greatly appreciated! Kind regards Collette

    Re: Emotion Code

    Hi TappingGuru,

I'm a strong believer that a lot of these processes can be done without tapping.  Tapping is soothing in it's own right and definitely adds to the healing.   But try instead of tapping just "breathing - and directing the breath" to the tapping areas.  It works.  Moving eyes to the tapping areas as you do this also helps.

There's still so much that we don't know about!!

Good luck.  By the way, nice videos.

    Ed Hi

Odd, I didn't get email notice of your response. Thanks, I'll try the breathing.

Glad you liked the video and I agree, much to learn.

    Cheers
