EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

    persisiting pain in the ischiadicus

Hello, I have a persisting pain in the ischiadicus for months now. I am still breastfeeding, so I cannot take any medecines. Sometimes the pain becomes unbearable and goes on and on for months now. Homeopathy does not seem to help either, so I turned to EFT with hope...

I am convinced that the roots of my pain are rather emopotional than mechanical and here is the story of how and when it started. The pain started around 4 months ago, soon after the birth of my daughter. I was living at the time with my husband, who is not the father of the child. He knew that but we had decided to play a theater for the rest of the family. At the same time I was desperately in love with the father of my daughter, who did not want to leave his family, so he finally decided to damp me. He said that he did not want to hear anything about either me or the child (that was less than a month after her birth). He hoped that I will stay with my husband and that we could raise the child together.
Me and my husband are now separated and soon to be divorced. He will renounce the fatherhood of the child. I have reestablished some communication with the father of my daughter but he is still hesitating whether to recognize her officially or not.

I would be very grateful if you have an idea how EFT could help me out of this difficult situation and free me from this pain! Thanks.

    hello mirabo,

thank you for coming forward with your issue, and sharing your story. i am sorry that you are in pain. i think you are correct, that there is emotional issues that are part of the pain that you are expereincing.

Here are some set-up phrases that you may wish to use, even though:

    • this extreme pain started after the birth of my daughter and the denial of the father's involvement, i deeply and completely love and accept myself
    • i am in love with the father of tmy baby and i am heartbroken that he has not accepted that he is the father of our daughter...
    • i feel _________ about the divorce of my husband...
    • i feel __________ that my family and friends are going to know that my husband is not the father of my baby...
    • i feel ___________ about the situation my daughter and i are in...

mirabo, i left some of the feelings blank for you to fill in, in stead of me trying to guess how you feel. know that things will work out. focus on the positive--how much you love your daughter--things like that. you can work through this.

let me know if this helps at all. you want to get to the feelings that are underneath the pain.

    gratefully yours,

    skywatcher

     Mirabo,

I do appreciate hearing how you are coming and what you are doing. You want to be specific about what it is that you do not accept. The more specific the better. It is important to rate the intensity of the your lack of acceptance.

With appreciation for the work that you are willing to do,

    Hi Mirabo,

The side of eye tapping point should get more attention then the other points and if you are "thinking" someone/thing is a Pain in the Butt" stop saying that, your body is listening.

To help the energy move, make sure you drink ALOT of water before/during after tapping and try hot baths with epsom salts or sit on a heating pad to relax the muscles as they are compressing the nerve.

Some people hold their stress in their butts, some in their necks so tap for ..This Anxiety in my Butt Muscles and My muscles are now 100% flexible and see if that helps...Sass
