Paul has given some excellent suggestions. When viewing the DVD's we have to remember this is not a 'how to' for each specific problem. I am amazed how many different underlying emotional reasons people have for similar on the surface problems.
There are lots and lots of reasons for insomnia and different varieties of sleep problems.
I have found many, many clients report the first positive benefit of our work together as being able to sleep through the night, or get to sleep easily although the sleep issue was not addressed. This is because working on a core issue allows them to relax.
Often this has its roots in chilhood experience or trauma where a child was in a situation of being unsafe. Or it could have been from later events so the questions Paul has suggested to you will enable you to uncover some of the issues underlying the insomnia.
However for occasional insomnia it can just be that there are some problems on our mind and nighttime is when we have switched off from the day to day worries
