EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

    Hi Tetley,

Occasionally some people can have an ' abreaction' which whilst not common is something to point out

Also Gary points out with newcomers to EFT..' not to go in where Angels fear to tread '. ie Keep within your comfort zone when using EFT.

I always suggest to anyone, at least to start with, obtaining professional help with EFT.

Is this possible Tetley..where you live, financial etc?

A Practitioner can then also advise you how to proceed with your own issues and possibly work by telephone with EFT if this is a favourable option ?

They could also advise you on using the Personal Peace Procedure and demonstrate The Movie Technique in a safe way for traumas.

    Warmest wishes,

    Marie

    Hi Tetley,

Yes, thats why I asked, unfortunately a lot of us when ill. traumatised have financial difficulties due to the nature of things.

Have you tried EFT for say anything smaller..headache, for example? This can give you confidence with EFT that you may need to get started.

Can you look up the Movie Technique on Garys site, go into the search engine. If you can read it through and see if you understand it OK?

I am not sure that EFT can be harmful having used it for five years...its more I think you need to start slowly and gradually, don't be impatient ( easier said than done Tetley ..Grin !? ).

Thank you for your kind words...if its any help at this stage, I use EFT every day, you know the list as long as wallpaper ! But I wouldn't be without it , its the best Gift I have ever had .

Where to start ?,,,, Start with what is bothersome/worrying to you on that day ...importantly, in the present...in the now moment...could be going to the dentist even.

EFT...works with you, your body and mind...it doesn't work against you...become aware of your thoughts, particularly negative and work with them with EFT..let it flow and let EFT flow.Dont make it difficult for yourself.

    Warmest wishes,

    Marie

    Hi Tetley,

Just to recap carefully on  my posting as I think you may  have misinterpreted several points... ' where angels fear to tread ' which is Garys in as much as don't work with something out of your comfort zone.

And to recap on ' abreaction ' in my posting.

In the context of ' mind and body ' when you really get into using tapping, it flows as one, intuiively.

Also I know it is a problem but you would be well advised to try a Practitioner as discussed if at all possible.

Great news that you are physically fit Tetley !

Let us know how you progress?

    Warmest wishes.
