EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

funding opportunity for survivors of domestic violence

Hi all, I am a grant writer in my other (non EFT) life and I was just reviewing funding sources for my clients when I found this funding opportunity. I almost never see grants for individuals but that's what this is! Individuals need to apply through a nonprofit org. I thought this might be an interesting opp to keep in mind for folks who are or work with domestic violence survivors. I'm posting this on the trauma forum and the practitioners forum. I know it's not EFT related directly, but felt like it might be a great opp for some of you/your clients. Here's the info:

What is the Allstate Foundation's Education and Job Training Assistance Fund?
The Education and Job Training Assistance Fund is a fund established by The Allstate Foundation to channel small grants to survivors of domestic violence in order to help them achieve their educational and job related goals.  It is the Foundation's hope that this fund will allow survivors greater independence over their financial lives and increase their options for their livelihood.

The Fund is facilitated by the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) Fund's Economic Justice Team.  If you have any questions or need additional information you can reach the NNEDV Fund Economic Justice team by calling (202)543-5566 or by emailing ' ); document.write( addy_text86055 ); document.write( '' ); //-->\n economicjustice@nnedv.org ' ); //--> This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ' ); //--> .

Who is eligible to receive a grant from the Education and Job Training  Assistance Fund?
Any adult survivor of domestic violence is eligible to apply for a grant; however, a domestic violence survivor will need to work with a domestic violence shelter/program or domestic violence coalition to submit an application for this fund. NNEDV Fund will only accept Education and Job Training Direct Assistance Fund applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations whose core mission is to serve or represent victims of domestic violence.
