Hi all,
I am a grant writer in my other (non EFT) life and I was just reviewing funding sources for my clients when I found this funding opportunity. I almost never see grants for individuals but that's what this is! Individuals need to apply through a nonprofit org. I thought this might be an interesting opp to keep in mind for folks who are or work with domestic violence survivors. I'm posting this on the trauma forum and the practitioners forum. I know it's not EFT related directly, but felt like it might be a great opp for some of you/your clients. Here's the info:
What is the Allstate Foundation's Education and Job Training Assistance Fund?
The Education and Job Training Assistance Fund is a fund established by The Allstate Foundation
to channel small grants to survivors of domestic violence in order to
help them achieve their educational and job related goals. It is the
Foundation's hope that this fund will allow survivors greater
independence over their financial lives and increase their options for
their livelihood.
The Fund is facilitated by the National Network
to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) Fund's Economic Justice Team. If you
have any questions or need additional information you can reach the
NNEDV Fund Economic Justice team by calling (202)543-5566 or by
