EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

    frozen shoulder pain

I can't recall exactly when this pain arrived.  I was living in Saudi Arabia, teaching English and  I carried my laptop to and from work every day with my right arm.  When I got home three months ago, it was bad. I went to my chiropractor and am still going, and I have begun tapping again, even though the pain has decreased from the chiro's work.  The thought came that the pain was the emotional suffering I endured in this anachronistic, rigid culture.  I tapped on that.  Today I am thinking it could be the bitterness I felt towards the limits on my personal freedom while I was there.   I was introduced to the EFT method in SA by an Australian colleague who'd had success with it for back pain.  I tried it and I continued it for quite some time, in the end, feeling that I was able to let go of many old issues.  Now,  I continue to do yoga which is a great indicator of how much my shoulder has improved.  I think I will continue to tap.  Please send any feedback on tapping for frozen shoulder relief.  Thanks so much,

    Re: frozen shoulder pain

    Hello,

Congratulations on your success with EFT so far!

You are on the right track when you are getting down to the feelings that you have buried in your shoulder. Besides the bitterness that you mention, I would imagine that there is some anger there, too.

Many times people carry burdens on their shoulders. So, if that fits, you may want to tap on the heavy burdens that you felt there. During your exploration of your stories you may even find that their are prior events that have colored your experience with your shoulder--from when you were a child.

I just did a typo and realized that should is the base word of shoulder. You might examine your shoulds, and see if there is anything there to tap on.

Also, I find if you AMP things up, and be louder and even CUSS. That many times, this will help move STUCK energy.

When you get your SUDS down to a 3 or less, you may want to affirm, " I choose to allow all my experiences to be joyous and loving."

Please let us know how things go.

    Gratefully yours,

    JoAnn
