Hello,
I am so glad that EFT worked on helping you get rid of the pain in your back. HOORAY!!!
You could be right about chasing the pain. Before using the set-up statement, you want to assess the pain level in your wrist. It is also good to notice exactly where it is at. If you can get to the feelings underneath the pain, I find that EFT tends to work better... Also, it is really important to come up with the intensity level of the pain or emotion that you are experincing. You can decide if any of these set-up statements sound like they could be true for you, Even though:
-
I don't know why my left wrist hurts, I deeply and completely love and accept myself
-
there may be a part of me that doesn't want my wrist to get better...
-
there is a part of me that doesn't think that EFT can work on my wrist...
Some other thoughts that I have that may or may not be helpful to you: Wrists can represent movement and ease. So, some set-up phrases that might work for you could be, Even though:
-
there is a part of me that thinks that my life needs to be hard because of ________...
-
it is difficult for me to move my wrists, and I am getting older and that may be part of it...
Please let me know if any of this helps. You so deserve to handle all of your experiences with wisdom, with love, and with ease.
I know that you are whole and complete.
