EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

Getting up the emotional scale to wealth...

    Hi Everyone,

I have been reading/watching/listening to Books,DVD's,CD's, made by Jerry and Esther Hicks which is all about the teachings of Abraham (A non-pysical group of spritual beings that Esther channels) and from what I can gather If you work you way up the emtional scale to feelings of Joy/Appreciation/Empowerment/Freedom/Love then you get in alighnment with your amassed fortune that your higher self/source/God (whatever you want to call it) has become, then by the 'Law Of Attraction' those things must come into your experience. (so long as you stay in the good feeling for a period of time)

Haha this stuff really is difficult in practice but by using self hypnosis I'm getting better at it,but I'm sure E.F.T will get me there quicker.

My question is how would you word rounds of E.F.T to work your way up?

Something like; "Even though I'm at a feeling of boredom and would really like to be feeling contentment I deeply..." ?

The thing that Abraham says is you cannot go from feelings of Fear/Grief/Depression/Despair/Powerlessness all the way up to Joy/Appreciation/Empowered/Freedom/Love ...you got to work your way up one step at a time.

Below is the emtional scale, I hope someone has some idea's on how to make this work using E.F.T.

     Thanks,

     Mitch

    2. Passion

    6. Hopefulness
    7. Contentment

Re: Getting up the emotional scale to wealth...

    Hi Mitch,

Thanks for sharing this.  Like a number of other EFT practitioners (Carol Look, Chip Engelmann, Sejual Shah, Lynne Shaner come to mind), I combine EFT and attraction principles in my work with clients.  I find it's a fantastic combination to allow people to attract money and success.

    Here's a couple of points I'd make:

    1) In your post, you say, "This stuff really is difficult in practice".  I encourage you to explore this belief and tap on it.  In my experience, it doesn't have to be difficult.

    2) Recall that attraction principles teach, like in the work of Ester & Jerry Hicks, it is our consistent feelings and beliefs that make up our experience.

    3) It's next to impossible to go in one leap from very low levels on the Emotional Scale to consistently feeling very high vibrations over time.

    4) Practitioner Sejual Shah and I call the "work your way up one step at a time" approach The Incremental Approach to Abundance.  It's very effective for our clients.

    5) I suggest to my clients to print out the Emotional Scale and put it up somewhere visible like your fridge, desk or bathroom mirror.  It helps you become more mindful about what your current money emotions are. You can get a copy by clicking here.

    6) Like all EFT success, using EFT successfully for abundance requires our ability to find and clear core issues.  Here is an article called the EFT for Abundance: The 3 Best Ways to Find Your Blocks.

    Hope this is helpful.

    With much love,

    Paul

I would use a technique I call tapping for permission.

    Let's take boredom for example.

I give myself-permission to feel bored with all this money stuff.

I used to feel frustrated when I think about money, but now I'm just bored.

It is okay to feel bored about money.

I can take it or leave it.

I give myself permission to yawn when i think about it.

I give myself-permission not to care one way or the other.

I give myself permission to think about things more exciting than money issues.

I give myself permission to think about enjoying a nice hot tub.

I give myself permission to relax with a good book.

I give myself permission to let money come to be even when I am bored thinking about it.

    Take Care,

Re: Getting up the emotional scale to wealth...

    Hi Guys,

great discussion! Thanks for sharing all your insights!

I would like to add that many points on the emotional scale are actually not emotional but beliefs (Powerlessness, unworthyness,...)

I believe that emotions, beliefs and physical issues are just different vibrations of the same energy block, and it often makes sense to include all those aspects into the tapping sequence.

Therefore I emphazise with my clients the importants of being emotionally and cognitively, and physically, if possibly, specific to speed up the process:

Even though I am frustrated that I feel so powerless, and I feel this knot in my stomach

Even though it scares me that I am so full of fear

Even though I am sad that I feel so discouraged

Even though I am overwhelmed that I feel so unworthy...

By adding more specific feelings and physical sensations into the setup, we turbo charge it, make it very personal and easy to relate to, which often speeds up the healing process. It also allows my clients to feel understood and accepted with the complexity of their feelings and their current place in life.

    Love

    Ingrid
