I just discovered EFT two weeks ago and am thrilled! I've had chronic hip pain on my RIGHT side, which is actually referred from a herniated disc in my lumbar area, and exaccerbated by degenerative disc disease in the same area. I've had this for nearly four years and have been able to get temporary relief from injections, medications, decompression therapy, chiropractic theapy, etc., but nothing has helped permanently. Over these past 4 years, I go in and out of "episodes" of great pain where I spend much of my time in bed and my life has been greatly limited. A recent MRI has shown that my herniation has actually healed itself by 2/3rds, yet I'm in as much pain as ever.
So when I discovered EFT and it worked to break my latest episode, I was thrilled! Within 24 hours, I had reduced my pain level to be off meds, and am getting much better adjustments at my chiropractor!
That said, however, the pain comes back. And I've identified that my hip is where I hold my stress. Anytime I'm stressed over *anything*, I feel it in my hip first. I've been tap-tap-tapping away on various issues that come up, but there seems to be more. Trip to the bank? Pain. Rush out of the house to (wherever)? Pain. Traffic jam? Pain. Uncomfortable conversation with a friend? Pain.
Some things I'm tapping on are not bothering me anymore and I can certainly start tapping as soon as I feel the pain and it goes away. But it seems that I must be stressed over *everything*! Or at least, I have not figured out how to keep my stress level down.
Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome. There is not an EFT Practitioner within an hour of me.
God's peace,
Dixie
