EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

    Facebook advertising

I'm writing this in response to Paul and others.  I submitted a Facebook ad more than 3 weeks ago.   0 response thus far.  I'm not sure I get it.

I'm paying by "impressions" and get thousands of those.  But I also notice "clicks" to my website.   When I check my website, the duration of the visit from these clicks was always 10 seconds.   Not sure that real people are actually clicking and going to my website.

Does anyone know more about this means of advertising?

     Thanks.

    Ed

    Ed,

Thanks for reporting on your results.  In general this is consistent with other feedback I've heard about paid Facebook advertising.  To be clear, I'm a huge fan of Facebook as a strategy to attract clients, but used in a different way.  I suggest developing relationships and delivering value over time.

Several EFTers I know have found Google's pay per click program very successful strategy.  Google has a much better system of sending targeting leads.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Ed,

thanks so much for  your update. I agree with Paul: Developing personal relationships is much more effective than paid advertising. Great to get the feedback that the same is true for facebook advertising.

I think this is especially true for our field, as personal trust and integrity are so important. What other advertising have you tried?

    Re: Facebook advertising

    Hi Ed and All,

I moved to a new country just over a year ago.  Being a full-time practitioner and the main breadwinner, I had to quickly build a new practice here in South Africa.  I used Facebook advertising and it was my number one source of income whilst I built my business here.

However... Now FB ads have changed. They used to be on the first page you log onto. This got me many buyers. Now, the ads are on the other pages only, and although I got the clicks still, I got no more sales. This is a sharp and sudden decline in response only after FB changed the way the ads display. I complained but no movement there, so now I don't advertise with them anymore. I did say that the moment they change back, I'll be back.
