Thanks for your help, Rachel.
Rachel G.:if the trauma is there, IMO, it'll have to be dealt with. No good wishing it away.
No, hence the hypnosis solution as a quick fix for now, or if the client lets me, we do more sessions and include more EFT. I would dearly like to do 100% EFT.
Rachel G.:Group sessions are good, they may establish trust in you and then maybe they'll come to private sessions for the trauma. Or they may just love the group sessions.
So I thought :-( Then I tested with an ad, and it fell like a lead balloon too. Not a single inquiry. However, in the past, I have had success attracting people to pay for a workshop when they decided they wanted to do it with me but they couldn't pay for a 1-to-1. However, none have turned up, which meant that I got paid something for my efforts organizing venue etc (just costs on that occasion) but got absolutely no satisfaction from the exercise. However, I am sure if I keep mailing them, they will eventually attend, and I think I can get more new attendees with this approach. Thank you for helping me with this dialog.
Rachel G.: I wonder if anyone has any experience getting 100% results using only group sessions.
Rachel G.:Perhaps Do some eft on your own frustrations at needing to make changes when you already had a good setup in good ol' England.
Ohhhh Rachel, yes, I shall get onto it this evening, good idea. I used to get 100% results with many of my group sessions in good ol' England!
I did get very close in the last general one I did in Cape Town. The trick is to call each event or specific pain "X" and tell each person that when you say "X", it means that very specific thing. Another way to get more specific with group pain tapping is to say "this pain right there" or "ET I have this emotion giving me this pain right there..." - works a charm every time ;-)
Rachel G.:what motivates them?
Getting in control. Any ideas?
Rachel G.:Are you needed in some other way?????
Yes, but smoking is a real passion of mine, imho (OK, not so ho) I do the treatment exceptionally well, and there are all these smokers here... But yes, I take on board what you are saying. Maybe I shouldn't put so many eggs in this basket.
