Re: Why isn't everyone rich?
Hi Christa, For me this sentence of wilkies0106aw in his answer, is pure gold: "Even though, I can't get this EFT to work for me, I deeply and completly love, fogive and accept myself" . it is perfect inspiration of someone who really believe in EFT... by the way thank you Andrew :-) ...I love this affirmation, have a try on it ,with emphasis, it could open the door wide. Kind regards Georges

Re: Why isn't everyone rich?
Hello Christa
When I hear the word 'rich' I don't automatically go to money but rather open it up to all that that infers, which could be having anything ... rich in health, wealth, happiness, contentment, success, love, friendship, etc. and then the level at which each of us acquires this 'richness' in life is another thing because each of us has a different ideal and concept of what that exactly means.
However, that being said, we aren't all there because we aren't all ready or willing to partake in the effort to make the changes necessary to get there ... wherever there is for us.
Many people 'say' they want this or that but in reality what they want is someone to make it happen for them. Someone to just give it to them or wave the magic wand and that's not reality here. There may be lessons and insights that need to be seen during the process of change to get to where we wish to or want to be ... another reason why it can't just happen or be given.
Actually when you look at that, there are many people who are GIVEN success or money or status, etc. only to lose it because they didn't pay attention to it and take care of it. They simply existed without thought or participation to make sure that it was being fed properly ... and eventually it is lost or taken away.
We have to want it, desire it, create the energy to attract it and then as we are releasing and gaining insights, then is when the change comes to create a shift in energy to not only bring that which we seek but to also allow us to maintain that which we seek.
GREAT QUESTION! In Peace, Kathleen

Re: Why isn't everyone rich?
In my opinion, the question being asked is based upon a false assumption. The assumption is: I can be rich if I just remove this ______. And if EFT is good, why doesn't everyone just tap away their _________? The thing is, there is no ______. There is absolutely nothing between you being rich or whatever else you want. Once you decide what you want, you have created that vibrational field, it is on it's way--unless you put your attention on something else and wallow around in that vibration. Wherever you put your attention, that is what you create. So guess what? If you are tapping on a problem, issue, block, thought form, etc. guess where your attention is? You can spend your whole life tapping away issues without getting any closer to your goal. Attention on issues creates issues.
So is there a role for EFT in this process? Absolutely! You can take away the emotional charge of things that distract you so that they are less of a distraction. But eventually you have to turn your attention to what it is you want and wallow in that vibration. EFT can help with that as well. I call it "Tapping for Allowing." (No set-up required) I give myself permission to succeed no matter what my perceived blocks. I give myself permission to monitor my thoughts and emotions. I give myself permission to make mediation something to enjoy and look forward to. I give myself permission to enjoy the process of manifesting money.

Re: Why isn't everyone rich?
It's not the souls desire to be rich, but to be free. The Secret and Abraham-Hicks and all the other LOA stuff out there is rubbish as far as I'm concerned. I've read all the books from Neville Goddard, long before these people were around. Same stuff, same lackluster results. If the LOA works so well, where are all the people who used it to gain riches? Oh, they're all in the movie, "The secret". I just love how these folks throw around all the typical buzz words, like vibration and allowing and surrender. To the average person, none of these terms mean anything and nobody can describe what they mean. I've heard the word vibration for 20 years and it means nothing to me. It's a bunch of crap. Throw the words "quantum physics" in there and it really sounds like you know what you're talking about. Hey, these people have something in common. They got rich. Big deal. I make over 3 figures a year with my wife. We're broke. Why? Because we both have emotional baggage and tried to "fill the hole". It doesn't matter if you got $20 or $20,000,000. If you got the hole, none of it matters. I've had it all and all I wanted to do was put everything in a pile and burn it. You want to be rich? Get rid of all the emotional baggage and you'll be rich. I think one of the things where all these mindsets falls short is the amount of mental discipline it takes to become someone else. How does a person with all the cards stacked against them, like Martin Luther King get to where they are at? They rehearse a mindset, so much so that the external environment does not dictate how they feel. It's irrelevant to them. They stay in the state of mind created in consciousness and remain unmoved. To the average person, this is way too much work. It's easier to sit in front of the TV with a bag of M+M's That's why none of this LOA stuff works. I do believe the universe always says yes, but what is your predominant state of mind? Are you creating from a state of lack? Or a state of wealth? Are you unmoved psychologically speaking in regards to how the environment makes you feel? The easiest way to wealth is not to focus on money, but freedom. It's not the money you want. Getting rid of all the emotional baggage, past trauma and memories that disturb you is the quickest way to peace / wealth. EFT, I believe will remove said baggage. I've been doing it for 2 weeks and I've actually removed the inner hole. The burning dread in my stomach that I've had for 39 frickn years. It does resurface at times, especially when the Monday morning dread sets in. However, I do a little EFT and it goes away. It's figuring out the hidden, underlying issues that is the tough part. Most people don't have the discipline to do what it takes to get to where they want to be. I don't personally believe in action. I've just always had the mindset "I get whatever I want". However some where along the way I told myself that I had made it and this was it. Far from it. Now I'm struggling to get to the next level. Which is to be free and unbound by any system, at least physically speaking. If it is wealth that provides that, so be it. To have free time to create is what the soul is after and most of us our in turmoil because we've basically put duct tape over the mouth of the soul in order to remain primarily in the physical in order to feed the matrix, and fill the hole. As humans, I think we are utter failures. The reason that most of us are in turmoil is that we are bound to a debt driven system designed and run by the elite. They suffer from the hole I speak of and nothing is ever enough for them. So instead of working in community type efforts to progress and evolve as humans, we're feeding these sick individuals, feeling bad about it 24/7 and reverting to hind brain reptilian behavior, ready to kill each other over a slice of bread. It's my souls desire to be at the forefront of a movement that would end the madness. I don't know where to begin though as I'm in the matrix debt driven system as well and have to provide a life for my family and pay huge bills. So it continues and that's where the sadness comes in with me. I'm basically helping to progress a system which only will end in disaster. But sometimes disaster is just what is needed for people to wake up and realize there's far more to life than baseball, porno and beer. Kevin

Re: Why isn't everyone rich?
Great post Kevin:
I can see that you've put a lot of "pieces of our puzzle" together. Me too, I've been working on that for most of my life.
knucklebrain: It's my souls desire to be at the forefront of a movement that would end the madness.
Great! This statement shows me that you have good insight. Would you like some help? I've been working on ways to do that and with the help of EFT and some connections that I've made I'm making some great progress. In other words my plans are coming together. More good people can make things happen faster. I think way outside the box as you can see by my previous posts here.
We all have HUGE untapped potential! The limits to EFT are in our limited imaginations! Tap on it!

Re: Why isn't everyone rich?
He George, I haven't read any of your posts on here, as far as I know, so I don't really understand your mindset, but I figure you're one of the ones that gets it. To me, it's about the machine. It gets fed and fed and nothing is ever enough. Families are suffering because of this and most of them are so far inside the matrix, they don't even know that they don't even know they're in it. You know the families I'm talking about. Racing around here and there and putting endless pressure on their kids. The GO type families that have no time for one another. They don't eat together, they don't see each other, they don't talk. This is what I see and I do whatever I can to not be that way with my family. There's a difference between responsibilities and madness. Today's kids, no longer have time for a long thought. The technology wave is killing us, as far as I'm concerned. It's causing us to revert to hind-brain behavior, and if it does not stop, we will cease to evolve. This will cause more and mover violence as this type of behavior causes fear to proliferate. When fear proliferates, so does violence. How do you stop it? End technology? No, educate people on what's important. I have all the technology that one could want. I'm in a field that is in the forefront of Info Technology. But I'm separate from it as I know it just drives people to insanity and to have more stress. This is why I touch it for the most part at a distance. What I focus on, as far as my kids go is the essentials that separate us from our reptilian counterparts. I tell my 12 year old that grades are secondary to compassion, patience, and willingness to participate and help others. Her grades reflect this. She's an A-B student which is great, but the parts that stick out are the comments, previously mentioned. Compassion, caring, helping. That's what's missing. See the rat race causes us to have no time to reflect on our inner self. So we run around like chickens with our heads cut off and intrinsically, we know that we are supposed to self-reflect and have quiet time and a long thought, now and again. When we put a cork in this hole, we are doing a great dis-service to ourselves and others and the end result is a society which is nothing but anger and stress and violence because we are not taking any time for ourselves. Do I mean selfishness? No, but a few minutes to just sit, think and relax. Are vacations relaxing? Not as far as I'm concerned. When I'm relaxed, I am in control of my environment, so much so that little can move me emotionally. This is internal and has to do with nothing physical. So bla bla frickn bla bla. I'm just rambling on her, but you get it. I speak this way, because it comes natural to me and I know it's my truth. I only offer it to others, a little at a time to take that which resonates well with them and test it on their own and it might become their truth. If I only ran this planet!

Re: Why isn't everyone rich?
Interesting to see how the conversation morphs and grows with each post. I love it. Knucklebrain since you put your well thought out comments up I am trusting you want someone to dialogue with you. (hint this gives us permission to respond) We are all humans experiencing life on planet Earth and each see's it through our own filters. The conversation originally started about "Why are we all not Rich" ? I agree that clarifying the definition is imperative before you can evaluate and tap. For each person "rich" has different meaning. This gold nugget is something I wish I had learned in my youth as I can see how powerful it is to make sure we are all on same page before talking. I am intrigued with the languaging in Knucklebrain's comments. (by the way-have you asked yourself what the meaning of your name knucklebrain holds? Curious) From reading everyone's comment on this conversation what pops out for me is the clarity of a few who have offered EFT help. One thing I have learned over time (of practicing EFT) is that when you get into the intellectual mode where you want to go deep you have opportunity to get lost in the rabbit hole and never really gain clarity around the topic. When I did it I thought I was "finding the real meaning" from an intellectual perspective, when in reality (if we choose to call it that here on planet earth-the present moment as we see it) I was setting myself up for a trip the LONG way vs just stopping asking myself "How do I feel about this right now" and tapping on that and seeing what surfaced and tapping on that...then before you know it BLAM charge around topic GONE. Here are tapping phrases that popped up when reading Knucklebrain's comments I think are interesting: Even though (ET) if I ran the planet we would all be clear and conscious of our own truth, what if I were able to practice detachment and let them pick their path & journey ET I see life and being rich as a big machine that eats us up and leaves us with a pile of waste, what if i could choose to see this from another perspective that serves us as individual's as well as a collective.
ET I see parents caught in the hampster wheel of "I gotta have" and they are bringing their innocent children along with them and continuing this farce, what if instead we all focused on BEing what we want the world to BE everyday instead. ET people are not always seeing what is important in my opinion, what if by detaching myself from their results I could vibrate like a tuning fork and create the space for them to align their vibrations by BEing a consistent holder of space of peace, happiness and joy. I could go on and on with what I "hear" through reading these posts and the above tapping is different than the mechanical EFT we go to, I welcome your feelings and thoughts on what it brings up for you when you read them. As that's the key in my humble opinion (IMHO) to showing you/me where we are still in resistance so you/me can tap to eliminate that block.

Great thread. I agree with others who have said, "What is the definition of rich"? Is it having a certain amount of money in the bank? A nice car? Good clothes? Attention? Looks? Love? Experiences? Everything? Abundance has never = money for me. I don't have time to possibly write out my whole story, but I will put it shortly. I discovered both the concept of law of attraction and EFT therapy in 2007. At the time, I was near death from an autoimmune disorder(which was undiagnosed at the time-I didn't know what the heck was wrong with me), the skin on my body completely eaten away (to the point where people would stop and stare in public my lesions/rashes), horribly depressed, working a minimum wage job and BARELY able to make rent and eat, no idea what to do with my life or where my future was headed, and honestly, thinking of suicide. I am a woman in my twenties and even though I'm not an extremely superficial person, I would be lying if I said I didn't want to be pretty. But I wasn't, I was very, very ill. That was three years ago now... in the past three years I've finally recieved a diagnosis for my health problem and completely healed, to the point where people COMPLIMENT my "pretty skin", as well as having two beautiful love affairs with two sexy men (when men wouldn't even look in my direction before) I found what I want to do for my career and now am on my way to becoming a successful writer (and I KNOW I can do it), I lived my dream of backpacking through south east asia (all by myself!), I traveled all over the United States all by myself in my little run down car who everyone thought wouldn't make it, I moved to the city I always dreamed of living in and manifested a lovely house in a BEAUTIFUL neighborhood for which I'm paying a rent so miniscule it makes people stare in disbelief when I tell them, and I now have a large and wonderful group of friends who are supportive and understanding of me no matter what (where as before I felt so alone in the world that I thought no one would even care if I died)... I did all that with only the money saved from working my minimum wage jobs, and I haven't even been employed at all in the past year.People ask all the time, "How do you live how you do with no money?" ANd I just smile and think, its not that I have NO money, but it takes a hell of a lot less than you think. It's not about manifesting MONEY... its about manifesting opportunities. ;-) I have only a couple hundred dollars in the bank at this point.. but no worries. I have a fridge full of healthy food and a roof over my head, and I know those opportunities will keep opening themselves up for me as they always do. Money is only energy and abundance is a hell of a lot more than money. During these past few years I can't think of any time I've had a lot of money in the bank, but I've always lived a rich life full of amazing experiences, and that's what wealth is for me. Thank God for EFT.

Re: Why isn't everyone rich?
HI icanstillchange
THANK YOU for putting your feelings your such beautiful words. I was equally weak when I discovered EFT and although I'm still not blossoming with energy, I'm thrilled at how many of my dreams I'm able to meet. My bank account is also not an indicator of how rich I feel. I feel rich (right now at least) and I thank EFT so much for that. And all the other energy techniques like Emotrance, Focusing, Psych-K, etc etc. Remind you to teach you the boxes method too. Here it is actually, now. it's for when a person is distressed and EFT isn't working.
Take a pen and paper.
Write a brief line, near the top of the page, about how you feel eg I'm fed up. Put a box around it. Now put both hands on your head and when another thing comes to mind, draw a line down from the first box, and write your new thought, in a new box. Then put your hands back on your head, look at the second box, and wait for a new thought. Sometimes the thoughts come fast and furious. Write each in it's own box. I don't know why, but it works best if a person puts both hands on the head in between thoughts. In whichever position they feel comfortable with. This may change from box to box. If nothing further strikes you, and you are still distressed, then look back to a previous box and put your hands on your head, and think if there are any offshoots from that one.
If you get to the end of the page, you just keep on going on the next page. As all the thoughts get expressed, somehow they get untangled and feel "sorted out".
I'd love to hear any feedback if anyone has any, if you try it out. It worked amazingly last night, Suddendly I got inspiration about what I really wanted to do, so I did it, and then I went to sleep really peacefully. Beforehand I was all anxious and mixed up.
