Hi!
Are you tapping a full round, including your fingers and Gamut Point?
It sounds like the problem is located in an arm meridian, possibly, Small Intestines. In which case it would be helpful to tap on finger points. The Small Intestines Meridian is paired with our Heart Meridian and emotional connection is Sadness and counter-part positive is JoY.

Shoulder Blade Problems:
1. Re-evaluation time
2. Are having a real difficulty in handling reasponsibilities joyfully.
Right Shoulder Blade:
1. They have felt like "the buck stops here", and it is their responsibility to make things work.
2. They have taken an over-responsible, under appreciated and hyper-accountable role, because they found out early on if they did not do this, all hell would break out.
3. Now they suddenly have to re-evaluate and re-decide what exactly their responsibilities in the world around them actually are.
I find it helpful to locate the point of intense pain and touch it while I am tapping. "This pain, right here!" Massaging the point.
Also locating points on meridian charts has been helpful to specify more clearly.
Hope this is helpful. It is very possible that you will revolve into a "chasing the pain" situation as you tap. Just keep tapping. Because you initially had chest pains.....My stand-by is always two asperin, bottle of water with any sign of chest pain, and Dr. Mercola suggests ice over right ear along with medical care.
He has a video on UTube that I have posted on my site http://www.naturalforcesforhealth.com/ACUPOINT-CHART.html
that explains the cause of heart attacks based on territorial loss conflicts, which might be helpful to you, also.
I have a quick-sheet available of acupoints that control chest pain, cardio etc. I can send it to you if you feel it might be helpful.
Blessings,
Sylvia
