EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

    Becoming a practicioner

I have been using EFT in my own life for two years. I own the DVD's.  Now I am going back through and studying them again and using the study guide for when I take the test.  My question is, what is a good way to find people to work with?  I have to have worked with 100 before I take the test.  I have probably worked with 10 friends and I can find more friends, but to work with 100, I will need more than friends.  I do have two people coming over from work next week that want to work on smoking, but I need more numbers.  Any suggestions?

    Thanks, all!

     Hi Cynda,

You can go to the site tappingbuddies.net and email the people listed on the site. These are people who have put down their details in seek of a tapping partner, but I'm sure many would be open to a free session.

     Hope this helps :-)

Hi Cynda.  Congradulations on your decision to become a practitioner!  One of the things that worked the best for me was to pick one or more focus areas and offer free sessions.  For instance, I was interested in using EFT to clear health problems and to help business people improve their performance.  I then told friends, family and colleagues that I was offering 3 free sessions to anyone with these issues.  Clients came pretty easily after that and some of the people who came as free clients continued on as paying clients.

Good idea.  I have always believed in the mind, body , spirit connection so I like the idea of helping those with health issues.  Not sure of which other focus, but at least I can begin thinking about it now.

    Thanks!
