EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

    Heel Pain & Shoulder Pain

    Hi,

I'm somewhat new to EFT and have gained some valuable knowledge from the sharing of information I've seen on this forum.  I have two issues I would really appreciate some assistance with.  I have right shoulder joint pain (bursitis) that started about 3 months ago.  I thought it was aggravated from painting a room but it persists.  I also have very uncomfortable heel pain on the bottom and back of my left heel.  Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank You.     Jeanne

Re: Heel Pain & Shoulder Pain

Generally with physical issues like this we take a two-fold approach.  Sometime sthe first is all that is needed, if it doesn't resolve it then try going on to the second:

    1.  Tap on the specific physical symptoms and when you have them.

    2.  Investigate the emotional contributors to the physical symptoms.  There are lots of free resources to help with this, three of my favourites are:

    * Carol Look Ask the right questions

    * Rue Hass  Be guided by your body (see questions she suggests in the second part of the article)

    * Maggie Adkins  Talking with your body

These resources help us to find our own answers inside.  While it can be tempting to ask others for tapping phrases or suggestions as to what might be going on, symptoms tend to be our body's way of communicating with us and often the most efficient way to heal is to listen to the messages are bodies are trying to share.

    Very best wishes,

    Jo
