EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

    Pain associated with gout

Hi, I am new to this forum.

I have gout for at least 12 years and been suffering in pain.

How does one use EFT to eliminate the pain or even the disease gout?

Please shine some light for me

    Re: Pain associated with gout

     Hi,

    Welcome to our forum.

My experience in working with relieveing pain is to get to the emotional source of the pain.

Think back to before you first starting experiencing the gout...

    • What was going on in your life--emotionally that was big?
    • Was there anything that you were really angry at?
    • Was there something that you felt like you needed to dominate?
    • Was there something that you felt impatience about?

Do any of these questions resonate with your experience? If they do, then you can use EFT on how you feel about those experiences now.

You want to get to core emotional issues that are still in your energy system. EFT works really well to help release them. It is like working on a puzzle, and you work on releasing the issues that are related to the condition.

Please let me know if any of this helps. I can help you walk through what to do.

    Gratefully yours,

    JoAnn

    JoAnn,

    Thank you for your reply.

It was 12 years ago, how can I recall how do I feel at that time?

     Any suggestion?

     Freedoms,

12 years ago--did you have any traumatic events? Anything happen that you wished it didn't?

If so, you can actually tap on these events--how you feel about them now.

Aother idea is to tap on how you feel about having gout, and any beliefs that you have about gout.

Do you have flare-ups? If so, pay attention to the emotions, and tap on them.

    Gratefully yours,

    JoAnn

Hi - I was thinking as I read your posts....maybe you could find a site on the internet that had the news events for the year in question and see if it triggered any memories....I looked online....here's one... http://www.1990sflashback.com/1996/News.asp - not great, but it might trigger some ideas of what was going on and your reactions to the news items, or what was going on in your life. Good luck, Pam

    Re: Pain associated with gout

    Hi Freedoms,

I have found in my experience that Gout is a form of Fibromyalgia so I would start by tapping on "I don't feel safe" the big toe is associated with the head/neck in reflexology so maybe that can help you to find the event that occurred to trigger it. also cherry juice helps and there is a homeopathic for gout also. I use Southern Herb http://www.southernherb.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=2064  they have vibrational meds and neat gadgets also

I have used EFT for Pain Eradication with clients for years and it is the hardest one to treat and I have done it with a high level of success. Enviromental Illness is one of the toughest to conquer but the most rewarding in my opinion.I specialise in Fibromyalgia in my Massage Practice and it is a precursor to EI.

You have to get REAL specific with the EFT zeroing in on the cause and effect and helping the body boost itself using various methods after ridding the body of the emotional junk with EFT it just makes the process quicker.

Most Pain is not a 1-minute wonder and it is where an Alternative Medicine Background helps you tremendously.

    Hope this helps,

    Sass
