Jo,
Please don't hesitate to use EFT! It is probably the most wonderful gift you can give her. You can join my group EFT-Cancer-Support-Study-Group-Subscribe@YahooGroups.com for a group of free downloads & print them off, so she can read them and then you can work on them together.
Definately, tap on her pain, place your hand on location of pain, and then do as many rounds as necessary, you can do the tapping on her, or she can. Just write the word of symptom and have her concentrate on that thought and hold it in her energy field. Repeating "All this pain".
Treat the edema in the same manner "Releasing all this fluid in my legs and all it stands for"
If she is on medication------------- See, article posted in yesterday's newsletter about wording and cancer remission by Lauren, and let her read it. Most of all she need HOPE.
I have an ongoing research survey posted on my website, based on Dr. Hamer's work and emotional issues that are common to people diagnosed with cancer, the results confirm his findings. Women scored higher than men, breast cancer patients the highest. All issues are tappable. Resolving these issues are extremely important and maybe the clue for her body to heal. She can process them in a journal.
Destressing the diagnosis is also important, it made a major difference for me, when I had mine. Dr. Hamer believes the diagnosis itself triggers enough stress to trigger a second location.
I understand how communication is difficult, I have hearing impairment, and it is as frustrating to me as it is to someone else, it also causes an emotional withdrawel. Louise Hay's book "You Can Heal Your Life" would be a great gift for someone to give her.
Loving Blessings,
Sylvia
