I find all of your comments refreshing and interesting. I'm a practitioner of energy therapy and use it to successfully conquer cancer and many other illnesses. I never thought of using it on the flu as I was taught that flu is a healing phase illness which occurs after the conflict has been resolved.

To get the flu 2 conditions must coexist. One, exposure to the virus, and two, a conflict among friends or family. The flu will start about 3 to 5 days after the conflict. No conflict = no flu even if you are exposed to the virus.

I also do acupuncture and this practice can speed up recovery by about a day or two. But I personally find the energy therapies more effective and don't do much acupuncture anymore.

I'll give it a try!

Interestingly, way back in 1758, the famous theologian, Johathan Edwards, (Yale) "died from a smallpox inoculation shortly after beginning the presidency at the College of New Jersey (later to be named Princeton University)," a direct quote from the wikipedia entry. en.wikipedia.org/.../Jonathan_Edwards_(theologian).

On the other hand, my wife's grandmother, who died at age 105 a few years ago, told us about when she actually "had" smallpox, but of course lived to tell about it.

She said they used vaseline to stop the itching. (It works for chicken pox, too.)

I spend most of my time in Mexico, in rural Puebla. The first documented case of Pig flu was in Perote, a town in the state of Vera Cruz. Journalists have reported the large hog farm is filthy with pig manure and flies all over the place. It was verified by lab test. That does not mean it was not present all the time. There is no way to tell.

My friend is a doctor. He said they knew in January there was a problem. Instead of dying back, gripa (a generic term for fever and crud which includes flu) was increasing as spring came. I personally gave rides to the hospital to two babies whose lungs were clogged up, and needed aspiration to live. This was in January. It was being reported to the Health department which apparently paid no attention. He said one source said the word actually came from California which found a new arrival from Mexico City with something new. Who knows? He did a lot of frantic investigation and within three days said, we can handle it, it is not going to be a major killer. That was before the panic even started.

There is still a lot of gripa this summer, but most do not get especially sick; home care is enough. It is too expensive to test, but the doctors are asumming it is Pig flu.

The only grave case was a woman who had a Cesarean, and came back two days later in bad shape. It took the doctors a while to change gears and realize it was not a birth problem. She was in a big hospital in Puebla for three weeks before they were sure she would make it. No one else got sick in the family, and the baby did fine. Some doctors have claimed that pregnant women are especially at risk of serious results, and even though the panic is gone, I still see pregnant women wearing masks in public places.

I know why EFT affirmations can work and they work only in certain languages and if you are the smart enough then you can understand the above that it has a catch yet with a revelation Mr. Gary.

Why are you always so hypothetical like Mr.frued again i am telling you we speak in Tamizh and how will you even frame an affirmation? Just give me one affirmation in tamizh for swine flu Mr. Gary.

Also, many recent studies have pointed to the fact that growing up in a sterile environment may contribute to the development of allergies and asthma. A vast majority of the bacteria and viruses that kids are exposed to are completely non-pathogenic and may be quite beneficial. Those few organisms that do cause illness may provide benefits by allowing the immune system to develop properly.

I agree, EFT should be tried on everything. It works 90% of the time if not more.

New to posting, I am trying to post a request but cannot find that tab.

I have a schizophrenic son who threw away, among my clothes and personals, all my EFT tapes except the first two. The UltimateTherapist and the EFT course. I purchased the advanced sets which included these two that I still have. I had the complete set and then received even more at a seminar in the North that I had not even had the time to view. I need a set replacement and since we are allowed to make copies can you or anyone reading this make a copy for me? I can pay for the postage and expenses of the copies. I would be very grateful, thank you for your time.

My granddaughter, 7, contracted the flu in Arizona this past week. She is generally very healthy. Because her mom needed to work and I am lucky enough to be retired, I was able to care for her. Tuesday night, the 2nd day of her symptoms, her fever spiked to 103.8. It was the middle of the night. I did give her Motrin and began tapping. Her fever was way down within 30 minutes. She and I spent quite a lot of time tapping over the next three days. By Friday afternoon, she was begging to play outside! Tuesday I asked her if she was worried or scared of anything. She said her mom had gotten a letter saying that they would have to pay a fine or send mom to jail if she missed any more school! We tapped on that right away. Then she wasn't looking forward to going into another classroom to do a make-up spelling test when she got back. We tapped for that. She got very scared whenever she felt stomach upset 'cause she didn't want to throw up. We tapped on that. Soon she was tapping on her own to get rid of stuffy nose and tummy cramps. She is a real believer in tapping now and knows she can help herself in any situation. And by the way, she was checked on Thursday at emergency and they verified "A-type" flu. However, since she wasn't going to be hospitalized, the doc said the CDC had advised them to not send on any more samples for tests! I would like to know who the first one was to decide to "discover" this year's possible pandemic and then report it. This strain has probably been around a long time waiting to be discovered!

I worked in a pschogeriatric villa years ago....out of a patient base of 45 to 50...on average, every year at least 8 would die from flu...they were elderlly and had mental and physical problems also...their deaths were never reported as from flu...TV reports would usually say in the whole country only 1 or 2 deaths ! Needless to say that equates to a pandemic for flu every year in my country!!....its agreat way of getting rid of tamiflu socks built up from the bird flu....looking forward to tapping on the flu this year cheers j

I came down with "the flu" on Friday, April 24th and, honestly, on Wednesday the 29th...I wasn't sure I was going to make it. I have asthma, which complicated matters, and my doctor wanted to hospitalize me. I declined his invitation but had to take the breathing treatments, and my husband "encouraged" me to go on the antibiotics because we were both fearful of my wellbeing. Then a friend asked me if I had tapped. She had told me about it a few months ago and I hadn't even thought about it. But I went to the site she emailed me and downloaded the information. I started tapping when my breathing became very difficult, inspite of the medication. It helped immediately. Then, I started tapping, specifically targeting the chest congestion...each time my body would "calm down" and allow me to become peaceful enough to get some sleep. This is my 14th day; I started tapping Saturday...five days ago...and I have had a notable rise in my total well being. I truly believe tapping played a vital role. Thank you for this wonderful tool!

Where can I get information on the May 6 event (surrogate tapping)? The site cited by Sylvia is not available. I would like to join you. I live in Mexico City and although I understand the situation is not necessarily the one they have made us believe, still living in the city has been very stressful. This is Mexico city, there is noise and traffic and people all over the place, but these last week it looks like an empty ghost town. It really gets scary to see there is no one around, people are either angry or hostile. The energy here feels very low and everyone is really afraid. We need to tap for some sense of humor as well.

Way to go Gary! I had six emails last Monday from diverse alternative medical sources giving the real deal on Swine Flu, although I already "knew" it was engineered and relatively benign. Thanks for contributing Dr Mercola's document... thanks Deedee! He's always a sane source of commentary on Big Pharma and all its dark and duplicitous shenanigans.
